higher rpm idle

could anyone post a map for the, stock 93 octane stage 1 , but with the idle at 1000rpms. i have a fidanza and hate hearing the chatter at lower rpms

I do, but don't you need the tuner application on your computer? I bought the ap used and they charge for that now have to go through some course.

Those AP days are over. Now if you want to look at a map you need to send your car over to Cobb, have them reverse engineer your ECU and send you back screen shots of the binary stuff printed to the ECU eprom. This is how you actually "look" at your tune.

I think, although not certain that if for example I uploaded a map for you here, it would be locked to my AP and you could only use it if you ran it thru your tuner(ATR) software. And since you don't have it, well you see the problem? Lol

You're 100% right. The only person that can send maps to someone that will work on their vehicle is a tuner that has the pro version of ATR. Rob and Will send maps that you have to save through your version of ATR for it to work on your car.

[Cobb Tuning]

If you have an OTS map you can use the Accessport to raise the idle target with just a few click. No tuning of the map is required.

If you had a Protuner make a custom tune for you, you'll need to ask your Protuner to adjust their map if you'd like to change idle or any other tuning settings they've made.

I don't have an AP to my comment may be a bit off, but this sounds to me like "Go to the dealer to fill up your washer fluid reservoir, because you are not allowed to open up the hood".

Ok so while Cobb is on here no less than an hour ago, do you care to comment on your current stance of charging people to take a course to use your program? Even those who have successfully tuned themselves, and others without a problem? Is it for more profit? If not please give a no-BS, no PR explanation on that and how that was not intended to increase profit. And don't say, "for uneducated people to blow their engines up.". Btw I don't self tune, I just hate when companies get greedy for more money. Especially when they have a following. Your decision was idiotic

Geez, I can raise idle speed in my lowly Hypertech tune. Logs posted here on AP OTS maps suck and offer no benefit over what I have with my mods, a safe pump gas tune that pretty much maxes out my K04 at 300/300.

AP has screwed you guys royally. If I ever go further in tuning this car it will be with Versatune.
