Default Go from Ecutek to PAP

Hi.

Now then Accessport finally is working whith our european cars, im very interested to start use AP instead.

Anyone know if its possible to just order a AP and reflash, or is it needed to remove the ecutek program first?

Thanks

Not speaking from experience. But I would certainly remove the original software prior to flashing the AP.

I think of it like any household computer..

I'm pretty sure ecutek can lock the ecu, it just depends wether the person who tuned it decided to use that option.

Not sure how ECUTEK works...

But as a rule of thumb, always remove/un-install (in whatever manner the software does) before installing a new type of tuning system.

Always.
