(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I recently uninstalled the AccessPort and, of course, had to use the map that was provided with the AccessPort since my own stock map was gone. My question is, what is the difference between the Cobb stock map that was flashed during the install and will my dealership be able to tell that I no longer have the Mazda stock map? Hoping for some good news or Cobb will get a call from an angry customer! |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I spoke with Cobb and they told me that even without the stock map backup, when you uninstall the AccessPort, it will put the ECU back to a stock Mazda map. He said that the dealership will not be able to tell that the ECU was flashed or played around with. Can anyone confirm? I don't want to find myself in a hard place if something does go wrong and I take the car in for repairs. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I am pretty sure that you have a mazda map on your car if you unistall, but mazda could tell that it isnt the map that was on your car to start with if they really dug deep- otherwise why would cobb give you the option to save YOUR mazda tune to the accessport? I am sure they wouldnt have any idea unless something really bad happend and they suspected a tune |
