(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I bought my car and only know some of the parts on it, for instance I know Cobb catted dp and cobb sri/tip, autotech hpfp interals, ap V3, and it does have an aftermarket tmic... the last one is the one that bothers me. If I were going to get a tune from you guys, would I have to jump right into the full tune since I don't know which tmic it is or is knowing that it is an aftermarket tmic enough? Will the pressure drop difference between stock and different aftermarkets present a problem unsolveable in the one revision of ots+? sorry if this has been asked before, but I wasn't able to get any hits through search. thanks |

| Not Ranked : 0 score full tune, don't look back feels much better.... I had an aftermarket TMIC and went OTS+ w/o issues. Any aftermarket TMIC should flow similarly on a k04 with about the same amount of pressure drop minus a very small variance. Freek's OTS+ is a basemap + one revision (so it still is meant for your car) but you just won't get any timing adjustment, boost levels I think were slightly lower as well... Just get the full tune, it feels much better IMO.
