Look at both your vd's
one is in 3rd gear the other in 4th, and almost an 1 inch difference in tire height. Hard to compare.

Nice man. Good numbers. What's up with the log numbers? I have a v2 also and my pedal position always reads 99 when I'm at WOT. And my open loop reads as .16, where your reads 0. Just found that odd and made me curious and to the difference.

I cont wait to be in the 300's.

I do that too. But for me. I was meaning how your pedal position never goes to 99 and your LTFTs read 0, while mine read .16.

I just finished my pump 93 tune with Freektune, it took 5 revisions from the OTS and I have to say there definitely is a difference in power from the OTS to being fully Freeked. The car pulls hard and strong with no drivability issues whatsoever which is important as my car is daily driven. I would definitely recommend going from Freek OTS to a full tune once your at a point in your mod process where you won't be adding more go fast parts. Now for the in tank methanol tune!

When my tune was completed, BAT's were about 120 max. Car was doing great, feeling great, running great. Then it heated up to 117 outside!!! KR started getting crazy when BAT's reached 140-150. One day it hit 5.96 and held for the last half of my 4th gear wot pull. It spiked, but then started dropping. It had dropped to 1.4 by the time I let off.

I have not seen it that high ever and never again since then. But, I was still getting wacky KR numbers in the 2's very frequently in part throttle and as high as 2.5, with 140+ BAT's.

I was told by a local Nator member to pop a gallon of E85 in and see what happens. So I did. KR disappeared. There were only few blips of .3's and .7's here and there. After 25 or so miles of testing her out; easing into the power, I got brave. I reverted my tune to an earlier revision, that had more boost and blasted out 3 pulls with High BATS... two 4th gear and one 3rd. one blip of .3 in all three runs!! Fuck you 91 Oct!!

I did a morning wot pull the next day. I was VERY PLEASED. the car has been a joy to drive. E is magical. Now I want the E85 tune. You guys weren't kidding.

***Log names contain the starting BAT numbers. The VD is from the morning run.

Side not: Yesterday, when I got home, I noticed my coolant reservoir was bubbling like crazy. I'm pretty sure its the high temps and the crack in my reservoir that's doing it. I have new reservoir coming and used JB Plastic Weld to, hopefully, hold it over. waiting for it to cure. Fingers crossed that the head gasket isn't toast.

I have no smoke, care has full power (evident by VD, below) and cylinders are dry.

Hell yeah man! Glad you jumped on board the E train haha! I just finished up my e33 tune with Justin and the car roasts tires gears 1-3. We had to switch to 4th gear logs which is difficult to do here in san diego at speeds of 105+ Fortunely i have 4 stations near me with E85 and i recently picked up a 5gal gas can to load up on so i always have it on me. My 91 tune is so damn conservative compared to my e85 tune. I'm addicting to E! I'm thinking of picking up a new exahust manifold and waiting on details about damond motorsports intake manifold adapter plate.

I'd love to see your final revision vdyno pull, if you have one.

I'm excited for my E33 tune. I need to do a few repairs first though.

I'm on my 91 map right now but i'll get a good e33 log for you real soon. What repairs? I had to change my spark plugs towards the end of my tune. I was getting spark blowout.

I'm shedding my noobish ways. Curious form when I get this tune... How exactly do you go about filling up, to make sure you have the correct mix?

If the tank is about empty to put the 4 gals of E85 in first, correct? And what if you are almost empty but have a 1/4 or 1/2 tank? How will I know how much to mix, without having to go full-on math wiz?

There's fuel mix cheat sheets on the forum. You'll have to know how many gallons you can fit typically you just fill up when you're low. Start experimenting now with regular and write down how many gallons you can put in at different intervals.... Don't ever expect to top off on an e85 tune but you can get real close

I'm moving back to Cali starting Friday. I feel like I'll have to do like an 91+e40 blend just get the same power I have with a 93 tune. But I'm in the same boat..can't wait to get some .

Well. The E33 tune has commenced. Base map, so far. The high was 111 when I took the "high BAT" log and after a 41 mile drive home, to see how it effected my power.

I could always feel that there is less power in the hot temps. But, I had never noticed how big the hit was that a turbocharged car takes, in summertime. A 33whp drop in the afternoon compared to morning. Wow.

I'm guessing the power falloff, past peak, is due to it just being a base map. Can't wait for the first revision. I'm definitely keeping my logging runs during morning hours.

I just got my 3rd revision for my 4gal mix. Haven't got a chance to do my logs yet but I definitely feel faster. Prob FEELS a ton faster than it actually is but that's good enough for me lol.

How much humidity? Yesterday was an average of 18%, here.

Finally, These are "my" two recent Rev 2 logs, in vDyno, I just got to Justin.

I think its just weather factors for sure. My first pull was done on a different day than the second. I always use the same stretch of road and start at the same point. At the same peak point of the blue run (274), the red run was 288. 14whp difference, at that point. The jump to 310 was the timing stepping up to 17 again, I believe.

Did a quick 4th gear sprint, this morning on a coffee run. I still need to do 20 more miles, or so, before I can get my logs to Justin. But, I am pretty pleased. I should be able to get them to him sometime this weekend. I am super happy with how this car feels!!! Not bad at all for starting BATs @ 115. Best I've seen yet, in this car.

This will DEFINITELY hold me over 'til I can get my S4.

Not bad! when I was freektuned I made around 350hp/385tq on an e33 blend with my s4. And about 310hp on straight 91. Currently I'm at 345hp on my 1st revision on an e40 blend after putting in new manifolds. When all said and done i'm hoping to hit 380hp+
Gotta love the CORN!!

Got my 2nd revision, yesterday. Ran out for coffee this morning and ripped my usually initial WOT log. I still need to do my 30 or so miles to do my logs for the next revision. Those will have to wait until Friday morning. I am hoping after the car learns the trims that dip will smooth itself out. ....Not sure if that's how it works.

@PurplFox; I'm having a brainfart. What do you mean by "DA"?

Temp 84*, Humidity 65%. I was also VERY low on gas.

I'm still kinda learning about tuning and to read these logs. But Yeah, that's the highest I've seen on my car for sure. I did notice that my high humidity did seem to effect my power curve. its suppose to storm today. Should be lower humidity when I have a chance to do my Logs for the next revision.. I hope.
