No doubt. I got all excited when I saw his email. I acted all cool in my reply but I ran to my pc and loaded the map into my AP then to my car. I did a few miles aroubd the neighborhood and proceeded to have the stupidest smile on my face.

How close to the full etune are you able.to get with 1 revision. I feel like if.u can get close to 75-80% of what the full etune would give( in terms of power/delivery), i will definately purchase an OTS+ map. My mods in sig + upcomming hpfp and tmic.

Let's just say my drive to work is going to be fun and interesting. A trip to and from work should be sufficient mileage so I can do the follow up logs.

Didn't really "get on it" much since I want things to settle in a bit. My LTFT on my way to work peaked at -10.94% and I know the ECU is trying to relearn my trims. By the time I get home I should have around 40-45 miles on the flash and tonight I should be able to do some good pulls.

But I can tell that the car wants to be unleashed and play. 3rd gear and 4th gear feel so much stronger now than they did prior to this. I am so glad I went with a tune and ditched the COBB crap.

Had Justin just gone the route that Strat did with just a OTS+ single map it would have been good still, but the second map opens up so much more.

If/when I get a DP/TP and get a full tune, I'll most likely get an E85 tune to have as well. That way I can run e85 around town(since there is a station really close to me) and still have the ability to run a 93 map for when I travel.

With a baby on the way, I don't want to(and probably won't be able to) reserve cargo space for gas jugs ala @SpeedEngineer style

no need to do that. he just doesn't have e85 close enough and we have 2 stations in LE
@atvfreek; will you be offering evo x tunes soon? we got a local guy here that needs some FreekTune treatment because he's too slow to hang with us cool guys

Sommuma...it's pretty damn cool to see how far the tuning has come since we were chompin at the bit for the release of the AP for the Gen1.

I've got more vacation time than I know what to do with this year. I believe a road trip to visit my niece in New Hampster is in order!

huh, didn't know that one was an e station as well. Either way both are on my way to/from work so I'll most likely do a e tune when I get DP/TP installed.

Well, just sent off Revision B logs to Justin. Hoping all looks good and nothing scary. Saw a little KR but nothing I would say too scary.

Here was a Vdyno log Zdraveca did for me using my revision A logs. @Justin@Freektune Does this look about right to you? Waiting for him to do a Vdyno of the revision B logs(I don't have a windows PC so no Vdyno software)

Well it looks like I had a slight decrease actually(I was looking at the maps backwards) Wonder why that is. Car feels better now vs A but overall power is lower? I know Vdyno isnot accurate but should have hopefully seen a slight increase over the 2 revisions

My logs between the base and the revision are noticeably different as far as peak power is concerned. Each has this odd jump around 3800rpm when i put them in VD compared to most of the VDs I see posted here. Justin said my logs look great though so I'm not concerned. I just figured I didn't have the options set correctly in VD.

That's the only thing I can attribute it to. It was slightly warmer and humidity was higher vs Sunday night.

That little bump in VD is due to the throttle plate. And the way VD interprets it. If you add accelerator pedal position and re log the VD will be smooth.

So my second revision arrived last night and I've had a chance to drive around with it for a little while. Very noticeable difference: better boost tables, powerband is even smoother, maf's are dialed in, engine seems to function better all together. The car pulls like a freight train; I have to actively keep myself from speeding or else I'm 20 mph over without even trying.

Awesome work Justin. You will have all my business in the future and I'm looking forward to a full blown e85 tune.

Agreed, car just seems much more responsive in all the gears. ANd my LTFT are settling down more and more now(started off at -10 and on the drive today they were around -5).

THat 3rd and 4th gear pull though is what impressed me the most. Also seeing 18.5-19psi and settling down to around 17.9psi around redline is not bad at all. With the Cobb crap, I was lucky to see 16psi at redline.

Yeah if I'd had a TP or DP I would have gone full etune, but having just an SRI/TIP an OTS+ is sufficient I think to get the most bang for buck.

No, I figure it was due to higher ambient air temps and quite a bit higher humidty vs the day the first logs were done.

The heat I can deal wiht, the humidty is what gets you. Dry heat 95 degree day, not too bad. A north Texas 95 degree day can turn into a 105+ heat day when factoring the heat index.

Yea either way it was bad the past couple years I was there. Now all I have to deal with is huge amounts of humidity in Atlanta. At least it cools off at night here. I remember going out @ 1am and the temps still being 100+ when I lived in DFW
