Default Full E-Tune E85 question

On the website under the $200 e-tune there is an e85/meth option.. if i select "yes please" does that add a separate full E85 tune to the 93 Octane tune or is it 275 for a full E85 tune?
Sorry if this was posted or clarified previously didn't see it spelled out anywhere.

if you only want a tune for e its probably just the 200.
i run e30 there isnt much to gain by using more e, just a chance of black death at 50%+e

I think he means a full tune for E85, not a tune for "full" E85. Full meaning not an OTS+ deal.

I believe it he price is for both because you can buy a 93 tune for $200 and later add an e85 tune for $75. Which is what I'm doing now

E85 tune is "just" a continuation of the completed 93 tune, where you raise timing/boost and adjust other related parameters to get the most out of your setup.

i guessed that just making a suggestion, i have an e30 pump near my house.

Justin emailed me a response and just to confirm for anyone that may not know, as macdiesel and speedrebirth stated, the $275 covers a fully dialed in 93 tune and an E85/mix tune

I think Justin is done with my 91 tune. His last email to me did not say one way or the other and had no revision attached. My last set of logs I sent him I pointed out fuel trims slightly off at normal cruising but fine at WOT. I mentioned they were fine with the previous map and most likely a boost leak I can track down easily. I sent the logs and his response was;

Hey man

Nothing should have changed with the maf cal. You can try loading rev C again. Could be boost leak, o2 sensor, purge valve, dirty maf, dirty air filter lol. Lot of things


So I responded to him asking if we were done tuning. As I have no clue. Ugh. Frustrating. I'll have to wait 5 days before I hear back I am guessing. My MAF is brand new OEM, and everything else is clean, newish, etc. I made sure my ride was on a fresh tune up before starting with him.

Anyhow, assuming he can do no more for me at 91 octane I want to do an E85 tune. I only paid for a 91 tune thus far. So do I pay $75 to do E30 mix or $200 again?

I want to do E85 as I had high KR at 21 psi and none at 18 psi. Will I be able to run higher boost on an E30 mix? Is it worth it?

It is totally worth it. I would think your timing is around 10* on 91, after that it will knock. 93 is usually maxed out at round 12-14* timing. And with E85 you can go as high as 17-21*. How much timing you can run is also relative to how much boost you run. Heat and pressure is what causes knock. So hell yeah, go for it!

And it should be $75 yes

I see. Thank you for the response. I will ask Justin in my next email to move onto E85. Will it be time for a step colder plug like the NGK he suggests on his websites FAQ?

Once i was tuned with e there was no looking back. I use 93 only if I'm going on a trip where some hodgie will screw up my mix ratio by not letting me mix my own gas (cough jersey cough) or cant get to e85. It runs the motor safer and takes more heat out of the cylinders as well as giving mucho powa. Imo the extra for a e85 tune is cheap considering the timing has to be reworked.
