Freektune Communication question

Hi mazdaspeed fam!
I recently bought an E-Tune from freektune last friday 8/10 and never heard anything yet about the purchase or tune info yet and it’s been 4 business days. I’m not freaking out or anything but i just recently installed a big turbo on my car and i’m not trying to mess anything on my car up so i’m eagerly waiting for an email. I’m sure justin is very busy and i understand that but i’m mostly just wondering what the average wait time is to even get an email about anything for the tune. I emailed both the freektune email and Justin@freektune and still have yet to hear anything yet. Did you guys get an email right away when you purchased the tune ? thanks guys

Usually you'll get an email to list your mods and send logs right away after you purchase a tune. Last I heard he was on vacation. He's probably still catching up on his emails.

If I were you, I'd have sent him an email a week or so before you install your BT to make sure that you would at least have a basemap.

Yeah i never received an email asking me to list my mods.. and i did do it a week in advance because i should be finishing up everything by tommorow which is friday 8/17

As Kiwi said, you should have gotten the purchase confirmation and mod list request immediately. Then once you send him that, it takes a couple of business days to get the base-map. If he was on vacation, he's probably playing catch up as he's one of the busiest MS3 tuners. Well worth the wait, thought!

I know it's too late, but as Kiwi said, it's best to have the basemap ready to go for once you complete the build so you aren't waiting for it. Live and learn!

Dumb question, but, was your card/account charged for the tune? You never know there might be a glitch or something lol

Yes that’s the problem, I haven’t received an email at all. And freektune charged me 275$ for the tune on friday 8/10 and i still have yet to receive anything about the tune and my BT will be done tommorow :’( so i’m SOL. Tommorow will be 6 business day since the purchase

So... he's been trying to email you but there's no response from you. He emailed you the day after purchase and then a few days after that because no response Idk if that's because of you using a yahoomail or what. Did you check your junk folder?? Did you put in the right email address??
