Default BNR s3 Freektune Dyno (video)

Hit up the local Dyno Days event and threw the ol' girl on the rollers. I've now learned how much effect heatsoak has with the stock TMIC setup. 306hp/358tq on the first run, and it dropped significant power each run after. I know it had a little more on the first pull, but it was sitting idling for a while.

I'm very happy with Justin's work and will not be using anyone else for future tunes. Just 93 octane here, but would like to add some corn down the road.

funny thing about heat soak... it really only hurts you this much when you are doing back to back dyno or 1/4 runs ‘hot’ for on road use? constant air-flow fixes much of it... my 2 cents...

Good run. Not bad for 93. I’d like to see what kind of torque she puts down with some corn in her tank.

You need to put a fan on top of the intercooler on the hotside. Otherwise you heat soak big time. When I did that, it kept all 3 pulls within 1hp of each other every time I put my car on the rollers.
