I just pulled the manifold off. Haha. Figured it was a good excuse to inspect the cleanliness of my valves. With the manifold off, this install was easy peasy. Great product from DM!

VTA kits in stock! Oil Catch Can VTA Option | Damond Motorsports


We now have a new supplier for filters, as these are higher quality than what we offered before. All MS3 kits come with a new bracket to allow the OCC ample space to make room for the VTA filter.








Here's a pic of the Mazdaspeed OCC and our Focus ST OCC with the VTA kits added on.

BUY THIS CATCH CAN! The check valve is top notch and the can itself is sturdy as hell. The drain valve is what i love the most. I've used other OCC's and i still ended up buying this after having a OCC already. Add in the EGR delete kit while you're at it.

For the drain valve, how would one upgrade to that if they have the original saikou can?

If someone could tag mattdomond for me ( I am not sure how to tag ) Or if someone who has installed the version 1 can for the 10+ Mazdaspeed 3 can chime in. I wanted to clarify one thing " and the hose coming from the factory pcv mounts to the top port for the saikou michi occ, the damond motorsports occ ports are opposite"
So are these instructions for 2 different OCC's? I have not received the parts yet but wanted to prepare myself for the install. So does this mean the hose running from PCV should connect to the bottom port of the damond can I and the IM hose to the top?

Just shoot me a PM, and I can get you one of the new drain valves we use. Like Nintendo said, they work with the SM OCCs.

This was from back when we offered 2 OCC options, so I'm going to go through and change the guides to clear this up.

Basically:

Little bit of hose on the check valve attaches to the intake manifold, the longer hose on the check valve goes to the TOP OCC port.

The line that runs from the PCV valve goes to the bottom port on the can.
