Default Not the first big turbo ST

Started planning my big turbo build. Gonna go with an EFR 6758, just shopping around for the best price right now. Sticking with the internal wastegate for now. Planning to make about 340/340 until a clutch/flywheel kit comes out then crank up the boost. Hopefully have Ollie from OCDSpeed do the fabrication work. Quaife LSD, Mountune FMIC, FSWerks intake, OCDSpeed downpipe, OCDSpeed 1-piece IC piping. Either get an e-tune from Kaizen or take it to a local protuner.

Update: Priced the 6758 at $1440 shipped, LSD at $984 shipped. Emailed Mountune about their FMIC core dimensions. Found out they're looking into coming to the USA, which will save me a few hundred in shipping and import tax. Have the IC piping on the way. Emailed Turbosmart to see if they have an adjustable IWG actuator that'll work with the 6758 (They list for stock turbo to specific cars and I don't have to time to research all that). Spec has clutches available, waiting for more options. Fidanza is planning to release a flywheel, Clutch Masters should have clutch/flywheel options in a month or two. Ollie from OCDSpeed is searching for someone to let him borrow their car for a day or two so he can fab up the turbo adapter. I'd drive out there, but he's 1500 miles away. Pictures:

Not from all the research I've found. The ST downpipe isn't as restrictive as other cars' and minimal gains were achieved when adding a DP to a car with an intake and upgrade FMIC, but I can't imagine better flow would hurt any.

The best dynos I've seen is an ATP turbo setup that hit 372 whp on the standard fuel system.



No idea if fuel was a limiting factor yet or not.

sounds like ford didn't bother to do anything in the of increasing flow anywhere from the disi, in fact it looks worse.

Horsepower is only part of the equation, rpms is the other. 370+ whp at 6500 rpms is slightly better than us, if not right on par ... i know on 93 octane alone my car would start breaking up at 100%+ IDC around those same rpms when i started turning the boost up. Not sure what the IDC looks like on this car, but i also have a hard time believing its making that power on 91 octane alone (i.e.: meth injection).

ATP turbo has promising results so far with that car. Excited to see where this goes though! I can't stand the focus boards, everyone there is so noob and only cares about gay shit like mudguards and painted calipers.
