It's not my ATR, it's the ATR install file, it will get locked to his AP when he plugs it in to install the program

That's not the way it works. Your installer is locked to your serial number. Otherwise Cobb wouldn't require you to jump through hoops just to get a copy e-mailed to you.

I've sent these copies to multiple people already, and they have worked for everyone so far. They might have changed it, but the version I have asks for the AP when installing, and that's when it generates the license.key I believe.

Ask @Thetal1; I just sent him the 2011 version, and he told me it worked for him.

Jon, how have you tested it? I have an ATR installer and it definitely asks for the AP when installing just like he describes. Once installed it has the 12/2015 updates listed in its change log, which I think is the last group of changes too. Strongly suspect it would work for anyone. I always wondered, but everyone always claimed so strongly that it is keyed and I had no real reason to try to check.

Somebody wanna send me a copy of a speed6 installer? Alternatively I have a copy of the most recent Speed6 installer I'd be happy to send out.

Quick enough to test, just gotta get a different copy & install, then see if it works...

It doesn't prompt for serial number, it asks you to plug in the AccessPort to the PC. The question is, is it doing so to verify the AP serial matches that programmed into the installer, or is it reading the serial from the AP and setting up ATR with that? Everyone thought it was the former, @g00s3y; claims the latter. I'm interested to figure it out and would be glad to get any of you my installer to try.

When i installed atr on my computer, i plugged in my ap during. But the atr still said it was for my old ap up at the top. I had to get the license file to make it work.

If you don't connect the ap, you have to x out the window, it gives an error, and you can click on ATR as much as you want, it won't run.

The ATR open on the bar is unrelated, just an fyi.

Yes. There are different ATR's for 2010 MS3, 2011-2013 MS3, 2007-2009 MS3, and MS6.

Hey guys I need help, which one of this two JBR 3" Wide Path maf cal is designed for the Full aluminum intake ?




This is the intake I have, which I stalled yesterday. I used the first one into a 93 Stage 1 map, and after 40+ miles the car is running lean with LFT around 20.


I am trying to get the afr and fuel trims to become some what normal so I can get a Maf cal done.

I have the same intake and used the top maf cal(tru) and was within 4% without making any changes. If your ft's are off that bad I'd say go check for leaks, somethings not tight.

Well...if you look at the MAF g/s values in those two tables you highlighted, you'll note that the one with the 3.0"ID has nearly 500g/s at the top end, while the other one is closer to 430g/s. That's a difference of about 14-16%.

If you are running lean, you should probably run the table with the higher values in it, as the ECU is attempting to add a bunch of fuel to the mixture because the WBO2 has determined that too much air is in the mixture. Ergo, you need to tell the ECU that it's getting more air than it currently thinks it is. That is, for each MAF voltage value, the g/s should be registering as something greater than it currently does.

I am using the first one which is the one with the value of 497. This is how how the numbers look.. This is at idle while driving some times the AFR stays a 14.7 but it fluctuates all over 13-15-20

See if you can find a leak. It should be between the MAF and the turbo, if I had to guess.

It is also possible that you've got a failing purge valve and/or WBO2 sensor, but those would be awfully coincidental timing.

I will check for leaks, once I get a chance. But now that you mention purge valve, I will take a look to make sure everything is connected properly.. The car started running a little lean or rich a few days with my previous intake and I thought it was due to a cracked recirc tube and thats why I decided to just install the whole new intake yesterday.

Since I got the Lean code last night might just follow this and make sure the things in the list are good.. But to keep things simple I am going to first check for a vac leak.

Thank you guys, I figured it out! The problem was that the coupler that goes to the Turbo inlet wasn't seating properly.. I end up having to remove it and added the coupler from the stock tip into the jbr intake to -turbo coupler and it worked.

does this article also apply to Versa tune? The scale of the voltage seems to be different

COBB intake is actually bigger than OEM - It's one of the biggest intakes that I would say could pass as stock sized. If you are doing a MAF cal you will be able to scale accordingly.

The Cobb intake MAF cal is contained in the Cobb OTS maps that specify "+SF"

Installed JBR Tru-3.5 Silicone intake today.
Copy/Pasted the values from OP.
Only took 3 revisions. In the end, had to add 15% to all values 1.755v and below, and added 13% to all values above 1.755volts. LTFT's are now within 1% and WOT AFRs are within .005 lambda, slightly to the rich side of desired.
