(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Now that I have the car running, I am boosting very low 14-15 psi. I enabled VTA mode on the guardian angel and set the setpoint to 25 psi just so it does not interfere with the tuning at the moment. At the moment I returned my GFB bov from 50/50 back to 100% recirc. Solid light under vacuum, no light from -5 psi to 10 psi and once my EWG opens and I hit my 14-15 psi boost the light flashes on and off rapidly. Any idea what that could be? Is it because the valve is at 100% recirc and not VTA anymore? Thanks

| Not Ranked : 0 score Have you tried switching the VTA mode back to the norm position? The LED usually indicates that the overboost protection has been triggered but I have only seen it as a solid LED when lit. Any logs/maps you can post?

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I will switch it back tomorrow. Currently I have a 14.5 spring in the EWG and i am boosting 14.5 psi at which point the EWG opens and maintains that 14.5. its just at WOT and when the EWG is open the led flashes rapidly. Tomorrow I will try few things: 1) dropping the setpoint to 10 PSI see what it does 2) open my BOV to 50/50 and test it like that 3) I will turn the VTA option off Here is a log but I doubt it will help. again my EWG as of now is controlled only by the spring

| Not Ranked : 0 score The LED on the GA will light when the bpv is being controlled by the GA. This will happen under 3 circumstances. 1. When the unit first starts up. One flash for non vta mode and two for vta mode. 2. When there is boost pressure on the bpv in line exceeds the threshold set on the dial causing the unit to protect from over boost. 3. If in vta mode under a certain amount of vacuum. From what you are describing there are pressure pulsations on the bpv line under boost. Can you draw a little diagram or describe how your vacuum lines are connected and how the GA is connected? Also make sure the line going to the bpv is connected to bpv out on the GA. | Not Ranked : 0 score Check that it triggers normally at a 10psi test for overboost. The flashing light under VTA means the unit is detecting vacuum somehow which is a little odd. PM me with the results from the 10psi test and we will go from there to diagnose and fix the issue.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Btw nothing was wrong with the GA. I wired a LED for when my meth sprays and instead of a blue LED they sent me a red one. Paying attention to the road i saw a red led flash so i figured it would be the GA LED but I was wrong. Sorry about the post
