Default Mazda MZR 2.3 DISI ECU Safety Features Described

I have done another article for the VT knowledge base. This one describes how overboost and overload protection work on the 2.3 MZR DISI platform.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

A question: the Boost Control -> BCS DC Adjustment - Boost Limit Exceeded correction vector/table works with the Absolute Limits -> Fuel Cut or Throttle Reduction tables, assuming that neither the load targets or load limits were met/exceeded?
I'm inclined to assume that it works on the Throttle Reduction table because fuel cut is issued as an ultimate resort of controlling overboost, but I just want to be sure. Summer is coming so we're back to the boost side of our hybrid tune

It is the boost limit throttle closure table after baro scaling with the Boost Limit Barometer Adjustment table.

The table you've mentioned (Boost Control -> Boost Limit Barometer Adjustment) is used to offset the values from the Absolute Limits -> Overboost Protection Throttle Reduction table based on the barometric pressure.

What I'm after is the table that reduces WGDC (or closes the throttle) once the values from that throttle reduction table are reached to prevent the MAP from reaching the values from the Absolute Limits -> Overboost Protection Fuel Cut table. So the table I'm looking for is Boost Control -> BCS DC Adjustment - Boost Limit Exceeded?

BCS DC Adjustment - Boost Limit Exceeded reduces wgdc once boost exceeds (overboost protection throttle reduction multiplied by Boost Limit Barometer Adjustment)

Thank you, so I'm using the right table to prevent fuel cut or the GA from kicking in (it's set at like 30ish PSI but it sees more boost because of where its boost source is connected).
