| Not Ranked : 0 score There is a kit from Damon motorsports that will extend the factory oil pressure sensor out and then T it off so you can add in a gauge. Sammich plate is a pain from my experience.

| Not Ranked : 0 score @sho, Noted! I got some glowshift gauges because many of the members in different post have said the same about prosport. Some even call them poopsport. I figured that would be something to stay away from. @pmartz I will have to look into this. I was going to get a oil conversion spin-on, which I read is a really good mod to do on the 07's. |

And soon will be picking up a cold side from Kevin tapped for meth injection, as well as a meth kit that will be supplying 1000cc of methanol for aux fueling and we'll see how far we can push this old and tired beast. (Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Lots of things done over the past 2 days. Timing chain, vvt, and all that good stuff replaced Sunday at 155.2k miles. Everything was fairly clean inside the motor and the vvt actuator definitely had some play in it and the chain was a bit loose. Thanks @pmartz16; for doing the timing job. Checked the turbo, and zero shaft play after 30k miles on it! Also found these gnarly holes in the stupid Cobb v1 piping Sooo...went "custom"and used cx racing hot side piping and pieces of random Cobb piping to make the cold side

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Last night the coolant line going to the oil cooler broke off at the male/male coupler from when the BT swap went down and the line was rerouted. Pulled into a gas station and must've run something over as the coupler snapped and I also had a dent and hole in the oil filter. Got her patched up in a few hours with some new line, clamps and oil filter. Scared the shit out of me as I was letting the car idle down before I shut it off and all of a sudden smoke started pouring out of the hood and coolant was pissing out the front of the car. Here's the aftermath. .

Have a small coolant leak on the small line going to the thermostat, up near the clamp; that starts to drip once the car has been shut off for a few minutes and then stops. Will just need to cut the hose where it is torn from the clamp and reattach. Otherwise, just need to put some miles on this thing and get it broken in!

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Moar update. Coolant leak is now fixed! Also, yesterday once I hit 200 miles, I started to get into boost a little bit...and got a bad cylinder 1 misfire. Tracking back to everything done during the swap, I remembered that my injector for cylinder 1 got stuck in the soft ass aluminum cp-e injector hammer and that we replaced it with a spare injector. Swapped the injector out as well as the harness and issue is gone! Just about 400 miles on her now. Will do 4th oil change at 500 miles and then do a compression test later in the week and see what's what. Vacuum is sitting at a nice -10.27psi at idle now.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Soooo...dipstick popped out yesterday at 22psi...got oil on everything. My map sensor has also been acting up and giving very erratic readings since the night before. Pulled the intake mani to clean up the fuel rail, all connectors, etc from all the oil. Map sensor was doused on the outside with oil. Cleaned it and all connections with q-tips (no chemicals), put the car back together and she runs well, however MAP reads -6psi all the time and 122BAT at all times now with the clean connectors. Looks like I'll be Picking up a new map sensor here shortly....and hopefully the pnp harness is alright. Thanks to @Enki; for helping troubleshoot online with me.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Grabbed another 3 bar this afternoon from a local friend, swapped it out out....aannnd same issue. Was suggested to check the wires on the pnp harness as another person in Ohio had a similar issue which was caused by a loose wire. So, checked continuity on each wire on the pnp harness and found this bastard wire that's circled had nothing.. Pulled the plug apart and found the wire wasn't even touching the connector. Ended up having to add some length, solder it in and heatshrink the added wire until I get another harness in the mail, but it works now...no more whacky readings or it being stuck at 122 BAT and -6psi all the time! Don't mind the high LTFT, I had reflashed and cleared the codes it was throwing for the map sensor right after getting everything back together Now to vent this crankcase pressure so I can go WOT and get some logs in. Hopefully will have that sorted this weekend

| Not Ranked : 0 score If the dipstick popped you may need to check the PCV and make sure it's not leaking oil like nuts in the intake, and also do a compression/leakdown test. 22PSI is a bit early for the dipstick to pop out, mine didn't pop at 28-29, and not only that it did not pop, I could barely see any oil on that o-ring from the top end...

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Compression test done this evening. 190-190-190-191 Also got the crankcase pressure issue solved last night. VTA setup ftw. was able to take a WOT log without popping the dipstick out, and this bitch is flowing some air!
