The spring rates for street comfort and street sport are 10k front and 6k rear. I have had the street comfort coilovers for a few months. My only complaint is the ride quality is to0 rough. I will be getting swift replacement springs for mine.

I have an impression review with pictures from last summer when I first installed them.
ISC N1 Coilover Impression
All in all, they're like most entry level coilovers. For those that want to compare with BC coilovers, stock spring rate wise the ISC N1's have stiffer spring rates which attribute to the rougher ride. I've driven BC's and can say they aren't as stiff as the ISC's. ISC does have a Street Comfort model of the N1's which have the same spring rates as the BC's from what I remember

No worries @Nliiitend1;! You are right that there are different setups for different people. And you are more than welcome to bring your experience into our thread! These coil-overs may not be for everyone. But for some they are just perfect and its up to the individual to decide what is best for them.

We put Ksport Kontrol pro's on our shop speed 3 because we wanted to go lower and at the time there was no plan for it to spend any time on a road course so we didn't need a crazy setup. The Ksports served our purpose for a street driven semi daily driver with occasional track time. On our Focus ST, we knew we were gonna be spending some considerable time on a road course and went with the KW V3's. And yes you are right again in saying that you get what you pay for. The KW V3's are night and day from the Ksports!

But in the end, it doesn't matter what we like, it matters what our customers want and so we carry everything. When asked we tell them about our experience and let them decide for themselves what is best for them.

Here is the Application Guide from ISC's website. It includes spring rates for the different spring set-ups available.

Meh.

I doubt there will be much of that. The brakes on those things do a decent job of acting like a real LSD, albeit at the expense of their lifespan (and while probably producing a bit more heat)...

I swapped to these from the HKS Hipermax coils.
Ive driven speeds with every set of suspension setups and i love the way mine feel.
Ive also noticed that when doing a pull off a light, the rear will not squat like with the HKS.
Its a stiff ride yea but i prefer that over some spongy shit.
The rral test will be at the track, my best 60ft to date is a 1.71 on the HKS and im confident that i can crack a 1.60s with these bitches.

@atvfreek;
I thought that's what I saw when we were working on your car the other day Maybe these will have to be my next purchase.

I have a feeling when you and Bryce are 2 of the fastest speeds holding records, lots of people will be interested in these as well. LOL

How'd those guys cut dem 60fts??

Yes, I like them but they don't feel like daily COs. Very stiff IMO. If you going about 85mph on 95 north over some bridges, the road is uneven enough to, literally, lift you out of your seat. Needless to say, I myself like them, and around corners they are phenomenal but when I'm riding with friends... I have to give them a fair warning to get ready for a bumpy ride. They are awesome looking, and I drilled couple of hole in the back for easy damper adjustment.

Tax sale coupon code no worky? Nor does the MSF VIP code. I thought you said it's part of the tax sale, at least.

It is, the code should work. If its not working, just send me a PM and I'll take care of the order manually.

Does anyone know if I would have issues using these COs with an Evo x wheel (considering the et38 offset)

Why would they? The EVO X wheels have no issues with the stock shocks/struts. However you will be limited on how low you can go since you will rub your fenders if you go too low since these wheels will make you herra frush

ok so heres my initial one day in impressions. easy, straightforward install. everything fit and worked. fd rx7 wheels will not work without at least a 5mm spacer. the smaller diameter of the 16" rim made them very close to the abs sensor bracket. so close that it actually cut into a wheel weight that i didn't realize was still on there lolz. bent them out of the way just a tad, and all was well.

as far as the ride, im coming from stock suspension that was absolutely toast. in town, yes they are slightly rough, but 100% perfectly tolerable and they handle bumps in a quick and orderly fashion. hard to tell how they handle with 16" winter tires.

now on the highway, i need to make some adjustments. they are, like others have said, rough... they are borderline too rough for me. now, i have the rear down the whole way, and matched the height up front. my JBR mud flaps drag like hell on hard bumps lol. i didnt touch the dampening adjustment at all, so ill try to dial this all in.

all in all, they seem like a solid set of coils that are probably a bit rougher riding than some of the competition. to be noted, i also have the street sport springs. the street comfort may be the way to go for most of the daily driver applications. when i ordered them i was told 90% of people go with the sport.

ill post a bit more in depth after i start making some adjustments

Eagerly awaiting review of the "street sport spring" feel when dampers are adjusted properly.

Getting a lot of interest in these lately! They are a great option for an entry level coilover for sure!

I'm struggling right now with some other things on the car, but i'm trying to get these things adjusted to my liking. I'm impressed with the quality of them so far, and they ride fine, but i know they can be adjusted much better than what they are.

maybe some of you suspension guru's can help. right now i have about 5mm preload up front, which seems to be the norm. front needs raised up about half inch or so still. the rear height is set to my liking, but i cant figure out how to determine how long the shock needs to be to compliment the spring height.

still cant really comment on the ride quality too much, or the handling as they arent set up right. as soon as i get the fenders rolled, ill be throwing the summer set up on, and getting it corner balanced. so hopefully that will let me use these to their full potential.

so do the ms6 coilovers have the adjustable camber plate ? and do they come with the end links ?

I'm tired of my 4x4 status and looking for some good entry level COs, PM me the price after msf/tax discount including shipping to T6P1P6. Thanks

Due to the wishbone nature of the MS6s front suspension, camber plates would have no effect on camber adjustments, you need adjustable ball joints to serve that need. So they shouldn't come with a plate.

Most of these inexpensive coilover kits for the 6 don't come with end links either, just from what I've seen.

Spring rate for front is the same for comfort or sport version (10K), that's pretty damn aggressive. Track ones are 12K front.
The rear are: comfort=3.9K (2=OEM) sport= 7.6
OEM front spring rate is 3K. So these springs are very aggressive up front compared to stock.

Anyway, lots to think about with these. Warranty goes to crap if used on street. (I know, weird)
Front to back geometry would be very off with comfort set.
Your choice.

9K front and 7K rear would be perfect.
The Gilf likes this.
