that only means they need to test fit their fmic on a genwon to include it in the efr kit is all.


The full race manifold will work on a gen 1 with a tmic without issue

I run enough corn that intercooler type/location doesn't matter...If some clarification could be obtained as to WHY a top mount won't work, that would be pretty awesome...

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know, EFR 6258 and 6758 turbos and T25 EFR manifolds are in stock and ready to ship. You can order just the mani, dp, and turbo it you want to make your own kit around it or retain any of your other parts. You don't have to buy the entire kit. Atleast we got a full BT kit out of them before they split. I purchased wheels/coilovers from them and Jon was really cool to deal with. I will more then likely go to them for other parts if they have something Edge doesnt carry.

Been a while since anyone posted but I figure this is the best place to ask...

I came across a thread that said you (edgeautosport) can tap the runner for cylinder 3 prior to sending it out but I can't find it anymore. Anyway, if you indeed can do this, do you have an idea for where the perfect location on the runner would be with regards to fitment and access issues and of course accurate readings. Also, if were talking about a ceramic coated manifold, would the tapping be done after the ceramic coat is applied or before--i am wondering if there are any detrimental effects to the integrity of the ceramic coating.

Sorry, I was thinking for an EGT gauge. But maybe that's not the best spot...IDK.


According to Pablo at SP63 (who will be performing an engine refresh -- including OEM Gen2 pistons and Carillo Super A rods) my recent compression test came up low in cylinder 3 as well as cylinder top looking like it ran hot. From my little understanding and what I'm trying to learn is it could have been a bad injector as well as some other factors (possibly flow imbalance from intake manifold-->exhaust manifold?). So I am thinking that monitoring the events in cylinder 3 might be smart.

Anyway, I'm liking this manifold as an integral part for my plans for the car.

Ceramic coating is usually done to the outside only to make sure nothing flakes off on the inside and gets eaten by the hotside wheel. Third tapped for what, exactly?

Flow imbalance on the MS3 is pretty typical and cylinder 3 is the one that drops most often. A JMF Intake manifold, or even a ported stock manifold will help with this flow imbalance going into the engine.

Great manifold. My ceramic coating appears to have developed some small rust like stains. Any tips to cleaning those off or are they stuck there forever?
