thanx guys. i will do a big turbo but im still searching so i got two months to find the best one for my goal. thats simply to put the hurtin on all these cocky srt/evo/sti's i see daily.

im 30 years old soon to be 12 year vet from the army and im married with two kids. i already have a home in florida thats payed off and is rented out through a property management company and i collect moneys from that. i also have a beater an 2003 galant 4cyl with 145000 miles and wont die, a great beater. i dont deal with stocks, my investment is my house back in florida. the 10k is like money ive secretly(hidden from wife) put aside over that past deployments to reward myself one day and in two months itll be 10k.

also i dont intend on ruining the ms6 i only plan on buying top notch parts and having cobb in austin doing the work or some other reputable tuner. my goal is reliable dd power, ive thought of doing a built engine but that would consume most of my pot.

There are some tastefully modded MS6 cars here, but since you are getting stuff done at Cobb why not ask them?

IMHO, you should not spend 10k on MS6 mods even if you want to "reward" yourself. Give Cobb a $ target & go from there.

IMHO, "rewarding" your entire family with some of that cash stash should be part of your plan. It will be good for your soul.

ive thought of the cp-e pump but there is also HPFP.com which has a stage 2 pump. kind of interesting and whichever one i go with im gonna get the deatschwerk in tank pump installed as well. i remember reading a thread a while ago of failing in tank pumps killing the CDFP and blaming the a/m fp internals.

I'm not trying to start a fire, but I'm sure that 99% of the internals failures, are due to dumbasses not installing correctly. I've had my KMD's in for well over a year now with zero issues. IIRC, there have been some issues with Cp-e pump too.

OP, go look at the "who wants an efr setup" in the turbo induction section. Read that and then buy the efr turbo kit. It is seriously badass. It's not yet available but my guess is the 3.5 to 4k dollar range. Get your FP internals, AP, and some sweet coilovers/wheels. I would also definitley get the Sure Dreadnaught, Juggernaught and Torque R6 motor mount. You would still have a few g's left over after all is said and done. Get it tuned of course too
