(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score @Etipp98, who works 4 full time jobs 8 days a week, made a template I used as the basis for the prototype pice I hacked out of the comatex, which is like plastic cardboard. Fitment is ok, but my cutting skills did not do well to match the template, so it is a little off. I painted it black and test fitted it using the factory clips and stuff, with 2 sided tape up front on the sides, and 1 clips in the middle. I saw one problem. The latch left an open hole. I made a cover, and a pull cable. Now it is bright and has a big ass tag on it. Cannot miss it. Here it is: Last edited by Raider; 01-08-2015 at 06:05 PM. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score It is too big for me to scan. The potential idea, and was given the OK by @Etipp98 to do, was to make a full on piece to sell. Pretty far from final, as we gotta make it and make it perfect, first. Then talk options, like just the paper diagram. But that is all I want to discuss in this thread about it. It is not for sale as of right now, and IF this does get made, will be in the FS section and will be VIP only to buy. Shit, if it was that easy! I lost the fucking magnetic pickup tool in there getting a wrench that I had to ultimately use a pincher grabber tool to get both. I lost a couple things in the small area I cannot access. | Not Ranked : 0 score With a FMIC I'd run the plate on the GenJuan instead of the stock scoops. They're only there to direct air into the TMIC ducting, and block flow to the radiator. Tapadatass

| Not Ranked : 0 score Please remember guys this just isn't to keep tools from falling in by the radiator. You are forcing more air through the radiator this way by blocking off the scoop to the hood. Of course this only benefits with fmic as you would no longer have air going to your tmic. I'm sure you all knew this but w/e.
