Town North Mazda in Richardson, TX has always been good. They will work on modified cars. Classic Mazda of Denton, TX has treated me well and also willing to work on my modified car. Though, I think they'd bail on heavier mods, whereas Town North might not. |
Country Mazda 1-631-271-6745 has always taken care of me even knowing my previous mod history. Not saying there gonna let you walk up in there with a full bolt on Ms3 and get away with murder but if your straight up with them they will try and work with you. |

Might as well take University Mazda off the list. They're not mod friendly, and have voided at least one warranty that I know of due to a CBE. They're okay otherwise, in my experience, but don't roll in with a single bolt on, or bye bye warranty. |

One for WA Mazda of Everett has been awesome. I don't have any serious mods but they don't hassle me about my COBB intake, Forge BPV, or COBB Accessport (OK so, I haven't told them about that. Uninstall and hide it before I drop it off but, I think they would be okay with it.) Kevin in service has been great to work with and someone in the service dept. told me off the record that as long as I didn't modify the cat or internals I was golden. Bigger's Mazda 1320 East Chicago Street Elgin, IL 60120-4716 (847) 628-6000 Came in with a bad pulley tensioner on my 2008 Mazdaspeed3 and they took good care of me even with my mods (SRI/TIP/Motor Mount, ect...). I called at 11:30 and the service manager, Steve, said I could bring the car up any time that day (2 days before Christmas). The other dealer I was going to go to had to schedule me for the next Monday... So I brought the car in and they diagnosed it correctly, and did one of those full circle checks, no charge for me. Steve even offered a free oil change because they need to send used oil out to Mazda for testing... but unfortunatly I didn't have enough miles on my oil (they needed at least 4k). The only caution I would advise is that I heard they are the dealer in Chicago land where someone from Mazda NA comes out and inspects cars on certain days for warranty reasons. So, I would just call ahead to see if you can find out when they will be in. Awesome dealer. Great sales/service people, quick and complete service. |
Another one for... Biggers Mazda 1320 East Chicago St. Elgin, IL Service manager and one of his techs were both aweseome guys, easily the nicest people Ive met in a service dept. Repaired a blown strut under warranty and replaced something in my trans -didnt really fix my shifting issue so I will probaly be back. But none the less great place |

I cut the deal for $750 below invoice on the phone, then dropped by for a test drive just to be sure, then was taken to one of their back lots to choose from one of 12 2009 MS3's that had in stock. They got me financed in November of 2008 with marginal credit for a great interest rate, and their closer is in their Aston Martin/Jaguar dealer next door. It's like being in a 5th Ave dept. store, it even has a Starbucks inside. I had to wait a bit, but I was OK with that because I was comfortably resting in a Jaguar XF. And nobody tried to change the deal on me or sell me shit I didn't want, plus they give you cost +20% on any accessories you might want the day you buy it. And everybody was just so freakin' cool. No wonder they sell more Mazdas (and Fords) than anybody in the USA. As always though, definitely work out the price with the Internet or sales manager worked out on the phone before you get there, so you don't have to haggle with a floor person. Have only interacted with the service guys once - I bought a cargo net, but the instructions were vague and not specific to the car. Went back to the parts counter and they called the service manager, who sent a couple guys right over to put in for me. No charge. |
