Default NEW Downpipe

I've been asked by a few guys to come up with a downpipe that fits good and doesn't hit anything - this is the XB Speed 6 DP . Let me know what you guys think .

Yes thats a cat , this car has a longer O2 wire but the cat will be moved a bit more up . These cats will not throw a cel - these are the sames one I've been using for years in evos with no issues .

very interesting, any thoughts on prices yet? and the flex might have to be switched with the cat, i believe the second 02 sensor is why cars will throw a cel, good stuff though, and its about time some one showed some love to the ms6 before the ms3, good looks

Cat's in the wrong place. It must be ahead of the rear O2 sensor or it is wasted. Swap the cat and flex section and it might work.

Just got home with the car. I already had a downpipe before this so there is no real performance gain to note over my previous downpipe. This was done to my car solely to help out the community. Yet another good job done by Frank. We have a few other things up our sleeves so you guys stay tuned.

I may do some sort of GB but all these parts are US made so I have to double check all my cost . I made these using parts I had in stock which were ordered like 2 months ago , so I just need to check the cost and we're good to go . BTW , this will happen within days , I'd like to be at $450-$475 for these long units .

First off, thank you for making parts for the MS6. The build quality looks good from the pics. I do agree with FORZDA on the cat placement if you want to make a more hassle free bolt up.

Actually the install is cake , but yes the cat will be moved forward some - is there for no other reason other than it was done for this car .

Nice work, $450 is a nice price, this is a 3" right?

And im with the other posters, the cat needs to be forward of the 2nd o2 sensor unless there is a bung between the cat and the exhaust flange that I cant see.

LOL yes on the cat - like I had said this was done like this on this car and it will be moved . The downpipe is a full 3" unit , the flex is double stainless - which means it has the stainless mesh on the outside but also has stainless on the inside as well - these are US made as well .

even though i dont plan on getting a DP any time soon, I thank you for using a good flex pipe. Paying attention to something minor like that tells me you aim to have some quality products.

Thank you sir ! Having the flex in the correct location also helps . Check back often , we'll have something new every week - I think this coming week the FMIC is up next ..

It would be cool to see a down pipe with a v-band option to mate up with some of the t3 turbine housings. I'm having to custom extend my atp about an inch or two (toward turbo, to compensate for that adapter that atp uses) and add a slightly larger v-band flange.

Judging from how bad the atp turbine housing performs, i think the t3 will end up being a common swap for bt guys. Just my $.02 tho.

We'll first start with this unit and see where it goes . For the most part I do not think every bit of power has already been extracted out of the stock turbos so this is a good start in us doing just that . Next is the FMIC and the manifold has already been done and on the car for the last few weeks .

Please keep ideas coming , I really like to get ALL input on what people are thinking - good or bad .
