Default I've searched and I've googled without luck..power window don't work?

Ok I am new to the forums ..I have owed the 07 MS6 for about 6 months and I am having an issue with the power windows. The 30 amp fuse keeps blowing whenever I plug the driver side master switch in. I bought a new switch installed it and replaced the fuse and yep it blew again. None of the Windows work. Took it to the dealership today and they said I needed a new window switch(witch I just replaced)and wanted to charge me $280. I'm out on that option.
Any help would be much appreciated ?

Short to ground maybe? You could start by inspecting the harness that goes through the door. Testing for continuity between wires that are otherwise not suppose to be connected. That's something you'd have to go through methodically.

I'm not a master certified mechanic however that's where I would start.
