| Not Ranked : 0 score What you are seeing is most likely black mold. Mold grows in moist areas that stay dark, like a closed car door. While the usual remedy for mold is bleach and sunlight, bleach can damage the car paint. Try this instead: https://itstillruns.com/remove-mold-...t-7528784.html If you end up using bleach if above does not get the desired result, mask off the painted area around that strip, apply the bleach only to the mold. Scrub it in with a tooth brush or similar soft bristle brush. Let it soak a bit, brush some more until the mold is gone. and then thoroughly wash it off with soap and water. Vinegar also neutralizes bleach, but should be rinsed off as soon as it soaks in. Only takes a few seconds to neutralize the bleach. Thoroughly rinse and then dry with a blow dryer.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I waited until it got hot out and scraped them off with a plastic scraper. Took me like an hour but it was worth it. Looks much better now.
