(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score It doesn't record like the Cobb does, it does increment records. it recorded 3 frames of the pull, one at the start, one at the middle and once I let off. Oddly the record of when I let off was after I dropped speed back under 100mph I also recorded 2 different cruising speeds with the cruise control set. Ignore the files with EOBD... for some reason the log came out in a different language when uploaded The bottom 3 are from the scanner and app suite Last edited by LoveMySpeed3; 08-29-2019 at 07:07 PM. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score You phots are visible but your logs are not intelligible. What format are they in? Also, what gear are you logging in? Use third or fourth. Don’t log in higher gears unless that is the only place where your issue occurs. It’s hard to diagnose static snapshots in time. Can you use a different logger, maybe even free or cheap Torque app? Resolution (refresh rate) will be low, but that’s better than just freeze frame data. I can’t see if you logged pedal position or throttle position. Thus I can’t tell whether the data reflects wide open throttle. Please stop logging under 3,000 rpm if you are wide open throttle. Your long term fuel trims are too positive, but I can’t tell what that means without knowing pedal/throttle position,

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Yeah for the Logs in the file upload they for some reason are only in a foreign language like Chinese... utterly useless to pull the txt files from the SD card on my scanner directly. The app suite that came with my scanner uses freeze frame data apparently. When I try to log it shows like its capturing fast frames but when they save it’s partial data. I logged one at cruising speed of 75, it had some surging and captured like 2 frames I logged another at 60 Neither of these was WOT, just normal throttle to maintain speed. Trying to get baseline readings mainly to see if you guys can tell me if fuel pressures are ok. The screenshot with 3 frames has the WOT Pull. It was up hill making the transition from the Nevada 95 near Henderson onto the Nevada 11 towards Vegas. There is 2 throttle positions logged, one is the peddle position sensor, the other is the on the engine |

| Not Ranked : 0 score What abbreviation is used for pedal position and throttle opening? Get Torque, or better yet, the free (logging and code clearing) version of VersaTune and an inexpensive OBD2 ELM327 dongle. No one can give you any valid advice with freeze frame data, and you need to be able to make full logs if you want to keep your car safe.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I will check what one is what. TP_R & TP_B. I’m guessing the best way to figure that out is at idle. The throttle switch/sensor inside the car should read 0% while the throttle body should have some small percentage open at idle. The OBD2 tool recommended, there’s many different ones that come up under that model. Not sure which one to buy or avoid. I have heard of VersaTune, never used or seen the App I bought new NGK plugs for my car today, will install them as soon as I can. *** The two things to look at is TP = Throttle Position and APP = Absolute Peddle Position. These are the only 2 things that match when the peddle is touched *** The rest do weird combinations of changes when pressed or released. Last edited by LoveMySpeed3; 09-04-2019 at 11:32 AM. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I just got a VersaTune account with the free version. Would you guys recommend getting the OBD2 MX+ over the OBD2 LX module for a few dollars more? Difference looks to be iOS/Windows/Android support over Windows/Android only. I’m considering that version of Module to have a larger screen to look at for data with out using my laptop sitting in my passenger seat I’ve searched the forums for the MX+ but have only come across the LX model. Is VersaTune compatible with iOS Logging? |

| If your goal is logging only, just get the ELM327. If you're planning on tuning the vehicle, then worry about other OBD2 devices.
