We should try (for discussion sake) assuming that the BSD is not the culprit...and try to see if we can find anything else that would make cylinder 3 (and its associated parts) to have issues.

Is cylinder 3 getting a different distribution of air/fuel, or different exhaust flow then the other cylinders? On the mazda 6, the shape of the manifold, and the stock EGR piping, caused the rear cylinder bank to recieve slightly more air then the front cylinder bank, so anyone who tried to spray a dry shot of nos, would lean out the rear, and knock out the engine. The wideband didn't indicate this, because it was taking the A/F off the average of the cylinders.

We almost need someone to setup one of these manifolds with some sort of A/F monitoring FOR EACH CYLINDER to see if the cylinders are matching up. If the BSD is not to blame, then it has to be something else in terms of air or fuel delivery, or maybe exhaust pressure (stock manifold maybe flowing differently around cylinder #3?)
