(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I was taking off from a hill the other day and when I was getting going my clutch took a change in the feeling of the pedal. I noticed but it still shifted so I drove it for about 3 minutes until I hit a stop sign and put it in neutral and I could not get it back into gear. I killed it and started it in first and limped it home. I instantly thought slave cylinder and put it in and bled the hell out of it just to find it is still the same. I did research and I have somewhat narrowed it down to a finger in the pressure plate jammed or a throw out bearing. I have checked the travel of the fork and it is right, and it does not bleed off when you hold it (at least not in a minute). Was wanting to know anyone else’s opinion or if it has happened to them before I tear it apart. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score It isn’t leaking and I think it is moving the right amount of distance. I have replaced master and slave cylinder and bled it to where there is no way there is air in there. I read up that you want to make sure that the fork is moving the same distance as the length of your slave cylinder and I think it is, I want someone else’s opinion. https://youtu.be/HvIEjxNGk9k I also noticed that there is a noise that sounds like it is coming from the clutch. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score at this point if you confirmed the hydraulic is ok, next is to remove the trans and take a look at the other parts like you said... just start looking at clutch kit because it is not cheap and often need a new flywheel because it is a dual mass...

| Not Ranked : 0 score Also check to see that the firewall or clutch pedal bracket haven't cracked.

the mechanisim is held to the firewall with some spot welds. it is overkill, but you will save chasing your tail if you have someone looking at the slave/master/and pedal mechanism WHILE you press the pedal.

| Not Ranked : 0 score i expect you would need to be 2 of course or try to inspect it from the floor by using your hands to press it as best as you can..... i never experiences it myself but i did saw some pictures of broken pedal mechanism in this forum after installing harder pressure plate on speed6...
