Default CAI/SRI not for our car but something for you to...

look at?

I just wanted to post this over here so you guys can get an idea as to what we can do.

This is the SRT4C and its a 4" intake going to the stock turbo. Now before some of you go, what? Check out the results:

22 degree drop when compairing abient to inlet temps at the turbo inlet (this really amazed me)
Feels like there is another 20 WHP up top (butt dyno is off most the time but there is a felt difference)
MPG has seem to move up a bit
Killer turbo sucking noise
Support for the factory solenoids
Great small battery (hold down is shitty but its a prototype that needs to be converted over to stainless steel)

Looks killer under the hood.

Last, this is the best. It will work with the stock turbo or big turbo when they hit the market. So we only have to build one intake and never have to look back.

Now I will never build something this big for the MAF cars but this gives you and idea to the details that take to make sure a part not only fuctions but has all the necessary parts there to perform while making the customer happy. I hope you guys like it.

That looks like something that would be huge at efficiency.

The intake temps are telling us the same thing. Not its time to up the boost and see what happens.

Is there ANYTHING small on or for the CSRT-4?

I just feel like everything is always so BIG. Lights, Grille, Plastic, Modifications, Power, Ego (ha, kidding)

Not that its a bad thing though, im sure I would rock a 4" pipe if available.

Do it.

Soooooooo. The new SRT4C is Speed Density based? I see no MAF meter and read "Now I will never build something this big for the MAF cars " in your post so I am assuming here.

No idea right now. We think with the battery and everything we can come in under $330. I have pipe on its way so we can figure out the process and build time to get an accurate sale price.

We are doing 3.5" to 4" exhaust system when the pipe order shows up. We are thinking that the intake and exhaust are going to give another 60 WHP over the stocker. Yes, we do everthing big for this car, why waste the time on little things.

Yes MAP based sensor. The MAF cars would need a piggy back in order to get something like this to work correctly or an EMS to drive the MAF sensor.

Thanks and yes its big. Idea behind it... build one unit for the stock turbo or big turbo guys. This way there is never a need to upgrade or go bigger if you plan on a bigger turbo.

DAMN IT! MAP FTW! That is what was so great about the SRT-4 neon. ALOT easier to tune the sucker. BOV VTA all day long with no problems. Who needs a MAF sensor!? Just complicates things................. I know, I know....more accurate, etc, etc.......as we watch the Calibers annhialate us at the strip........ As bad as I hate to admit it, I am afraid our motors will pop well before theirs anyway..........

I doubt that. The DI should win everytime with the proper mods. I should know what those mods are by now but to many projects burning up my time. I will have a ton of new parts on the MS3 before the weekend is here and I will show some data logs as well. We are getting close to getting the fueling issues under controll.
