Default $850 spent on a......vacuum leak?!

Haha so you may all get a laugh out of this. My car died on my about a month and a half ago. My brother and I were certain it was the clutcha because of the way it was running/driving. So I bought a fidanza flywheel and oem luk clutch tear it all apart and find out my dual mass flywheel had failed so we were pretty certain that was the issue. Put it all back together with the new parts fire it up and it STILL wasn't running. At that point were both pissed/confused. We start checking EVERYTHING and my brother checked under the car for tools for clean up and he saw a NEW hose hanging down that wasn't before. Traced it and yea was the line to my OCC off the pcv MASSIVE boost/vacuum issue. It must have blown off when I went to start it after I parked at target in concord. We checked it then and it seemed solid but might have just been caught. So we reconnected the line to the pc and it fired right up now problem. So yes I dropped $850 on something as simple as a leak BUT my flywheel was dying/dead and could have caused MASSIVE damage to my rear main if the springs let go. On a good note the fidanza is freakin AWESOME!!!

Please feel free to flame and make fun made me laugh a bit. Least now I know how to drop the tranny and such out now.

On a side note anyone know the part number for the driver side axel shaft seal out the tranny. Putting my axel back in I think I beat mine up so its leaking a bit now.

At least it wasn't a complete waste, and you learned something in the process. Glad it's all good now.
