| Not Ranked : 0 score Ok. I got the mount in. Car feels great!! I may go back to a JBR PMM though, vs the stocker PMM. still a bit too much movement for me. But WAY BETTER. THANKS CORKSPORT!! Thank god I was able to get to it today. The one that was in there is almost ripped completely through. I am not even sure it was the proper one. There was no stock insert. There wasn't even any signs of one ever being in there and deteriorating. My one issue was the gen1 tripod mount (the part that bolts to the tranny and what the mount bolts to) is too wide to fit into the CS insert. It just gets smashed. Yeah, you can just torque it down and smash it, but I don't suggest that. I trimmed away a bit to creat a slight ramp so that as I torque the center bolt down, the CS insert will spread and slip over and around the tripod top. Pic is below. Here's the rip. Here is were I trimmed away a bit to create a slight ramp for the insert to be able to spread out and slip over the tripod mount. Here is how wide the gen1 tripod top is. The outer portions that are dirty are the parts the won't let the CS insert get around the top of the tripod and the reason for the trimming. The cleaner square portion around the bolt hole is how wide the CS insert opening is.
