Default cs abe issue

Hey guys! Heard nothing but good things about your products so I joined 7th gear and ordered and axleback exhaust. My goal was to build into a full CS turboback exhaust. Before ordering I called to make sure I could do it in pieces starting with the ABE, I made sure to ask that I could piece it together and end with the same result as the TBE. Granted this may be do to a lack of research on my part, but after calling I was told I could make it identical with mid pipe/race pipe and the DP. I now have the ABE installed and the drone is absolutely terrible, it sounds so hollow and loud under full acceleration. Come to find out it’s just a straight pipe, and will never produce the same sound as the CBE. My plan is to still buy a TBE through you guys, but now I have to repurchase a CBE and feel like I wasted 450. Is there anything that can be done?

Has this been resolved?

I dont see it being unreasonable for CS to sell you a mid pipe to convert your ABE into a CBE.

If you have a drone with your stock DP and cats, I don't think the drone will go away with adding more non-stock parts.

The drone is only going to get worse with a full turbo back just so you know.

I have a Cobb TBE and the drone around 3k RPM is significant enough that it legitimately made me question whether or not my subwoofer amp was still working because the drone overpowers the bass of my sound system. Cobb's exhaust is incredibly high quality steel, too. Mine has been dailied for 33k miles in all weather including salty snowy roads and still looks brand new. I'd imagine the drone would be even worse with cheaper, thinner steel.
