Wow see.......you get it. You bought the wrong product. You can buy the stage 2 at the discounted price and sell your stage 1 or buy just the tih at regular price. Whichever makes you happy. | |

Oh, since you can only seem to post pictures of what you want, how about proof that you're a fucking whining ass bitch? Right there, goes to show you're a dumbass and ordered the wrong part. Have him make a thread about it. If it's a problem that more than 1 person has had then it gives others a chance to speak up about it and bring it to the attention of the vendor. You just have to sift through the "Donate brownie" and "OP is *insert expletive of choice*" This thread has become infected with AIDS since it's pretty clear that OP believes discounts just rain down from the heavens constantly.

| Not Ranked : 0 score The only thing I have to contribute to this thread is.... $600 is a lot of money but in the world of car modifying it's chump change and does not carry enough weight for vendors to be polishing your shoes ... Or giving discounts on second orders because you failed to research / order the proper mods on your first order for the SRI. Either way, best of luck to ya and hopefully this all gets worked out.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Lol Going to actually chime in here as I'm tired of the MSF bandwagoners, you faggots make me rage (esp. with all the map shit) OP you're stupid for buying all corksport parts. "I want all the parts on my car to be the same brand herp derp derp." That being said, I'd be fucking livid as well if they responded to my email 11 days later about a poorly fitting part. To everyone saying, "why not call? It's your fault", the fuck is the point of having an email address. Answering emails is just as important as answering the phone, it's business. I'm also willing to bet 99% of corksport sales are internet based, answering emails 11 days later is a no no for ecommerce. Also, they should have given him the combo price. He bought both pieces eventually, he wasn't aware he needed both for the shitty airbox to work. I worked in customer service for years, If a customer was a repeat customer as the op was, you bend a little bit for them. Sorry, not giving the combo price to a repeat customer is just bad service.

| Not Ranked : 0 score First off, I believe that the stage2 combo is set up differently than the separate Sri and tip. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that the stage1 SRI has the breather hose attachment on the SRI whereas the stage2 combo has the breather hose attachment on the TIP. This would cause the parts to not be interchangeable as you'd have two breather hose ports for one hose! Basically, your talking about 2 different parts. The stage2 is not just your SRI + a TIP..

| Not Ranked : 0 score Ok, no vendor or service provider on this planet can have 100% customer satisfaction. Because we're dealing with people, and people change their minds, make mistakes, think about something and talk about something else, or they don't like the color of some bolt, or some 3rd party fails to follow specs or damage a product during transportation or whatever. But there's another thing that people do, despite the fact that they can't have a 100% successful relationship: people TALK, and they get things FIXED eventually, no matter who screwed up initially! Now, if you failed to reach the phone for calling CS then I guess you failed a bit at humanity. Now you come here and whine like a 14 years old school girl that you were not satisfied with your vendor and claim you have $600 worth of CS parts on your car. What about the other people who have a 4-5 years history with CS and have a few thousandths $ worth of parts on their car and they're orgasmically pleased with the CS services? I can't even imagine how by looking at the other reviews and even by looking at how @CorkSport handled their FAILs over the time you could post something like this without even attempting to call them and fucking TALK about what bothered you. I have no idea if CS are the best at customer service or anything else because as a single customer I can't evaluate this myself, even with the help of the other people reviewing their services (customer services or fabrication). But I do know that I personally am very satisfied with all I've got from them and I also know that they are competent on all fields and make efforts of being even better today at everything than they were yesterday.

| Not Ranked : 0 score The stage II intake is a different setup over the Stage I + the TIP as @Chron mentioned. There are difference in silicone, sizes of connection at the TIP, and a few other small things. This was from the order which parts were released, we went backwards so to speak, stage II came out before stage I. The idea of offering the stage II intake at a discounted price is to get people to order the it at a better price than the stage I and the TIP separately. -Derrick |

Its especially worse when there is a problem that someone is trying to explain/convey but can't properly do so. Things don't get explained right, someone takes something that is said the wrong way (I know you all have said something in a text to your gf or bf that was taken the wrong way, out of context...) I'm sorry, but sending an email to a company who you KNOW receives hundreds of equally stupid emails every day is retarded. So for the love of shit, CALL FIRST, then send an email with contact info and ask to be CALLED... I can understand about never being able to reach someone by phone, and if that's the case, then CS needs to step up in that regard. But I've never had a problem getting through to them on the phone on the first try, and all I ever see is them quickly addressing people who post up with an issue... Oh, and with a phone number, saying CALL ME..... (Fucking kids, get off my lawn)

| Not Ranked : 0 score look, i like corksport as a company, for the most part. but seriously, they're hardly perfect. nobody is. it's not blasphemous to say corksport could do better. i love how everyone points to the internals as proof that they are always on top of issues. i guess everyone likes to forget how long it took to get the catch can situation resolved. it went from user error, to there shouldn't be any pressure there anyway, to try routing it differently, to maybe the glue failed, to let's weld the tops, to a completely new can. but, of course, who wants to complain about a company who puts a cute chick as a major liaison with the customers? and "sigh..." is hardly working on a resolution.

| Not Ranked : 0 score The sigh kinda pisses me off to be honest. You were better off not typing a damn thing than that bullshit post Derrick. Yes, I had a major issue with CS and their handling of the OCC issue. This issue however, is not the same. This issue is the OP's stupidity for not even being able to look at the damn pictures and figure out the difference from the S1 & S2. No discount should be given as the parts are completely different and the OP simply failed to read the descriptions. Now, for the test pipe issue.- I've known about that for a while now and it's pretty much BS how it was handled. @SilverDemon; has suggested a resolution to the issue many times and CS continues to dance around the real issue. I want to like CS for the continued support and new products, but they constantly have issue after issue with product releases. Honestly, in our Ohio group, not many people will touch a CS product because of this. Those that will use CS parts know to wait for a while because it's a running joke that the first run or two are going to be recalled. Sad thing is, it's often times more of a reality than a joke.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I've had nothing but positive experiences *personally* with Cockspurt. I have their TMIC, BPV, and hood struts, all arrived intact in a timely manner, and fitment was correct. Lug nuts were removed from the market, internals were recalled with refunds or credits given, the short shifter has some wrinkles for certain model years, the BBK got some bad press for a short period of time due to misconstrued instructions... they certainly aren't perfect, but those are all situations that were or are being resolved. That's pretty responsive for a small company dedicated to our platform, particularly when they are taking the most risks by offering a lot more than just intake/mounts/exhaust components. If you want cams or heaven forbid larger injectors, you might want to think twice about bashing them publicly over an intake combo or broken DP hanger. Cut off your nose to spite your face?

| Not Ranked : 0 score One thing I will mention but this is going way off the topic since this topic is headed that way. We have camshafts ready for the DISI for a while now. We are not releasing despite the huge influx of questions, comments, request, and begging phone calls. The reason behind this is we are giving them time in cars for testing. In the past we have given in to pressure to get a part released which has bit us in the ass but this will not be the case for future parts. I am not saying there won't be problems, we are honestly expecting someone to screw up an installation of the camshafts, wipe out a motor, post up that we are at fault despite a pile of warnings, it to come up on the forums in a negative manor. -Derrick

And as stated the cams are already in the wild. Fuel pump internals are another potentially scary item, but I'd swap my ATs even up for the CS's right now after installing them Sunday for another Nator member. The finish and movement is better, lesser mass, stiffer spring, etc. If no one takes risks, the platform will stagnate.

| Not Ranked : 0 score so....all this boiled down to was OP didn't know how to read the product description properly correct? I can't see how CS is at fault in this particular situation. As far as responses...I've always said call before email. As spencer said, they get hundreds of emails a week. I get a quarter of that for work and it takes me a few days to play catch up. Email is not a reliable source of communication. It never has been in any industry or even personal life. One thing that can be counted on for posts likes these is that the CS fans will rally behind them, and the same CS haters will be sure to be there to add their 2 cents even if it doesn't add or detract from the situation. on the cam issue, i think a pu running 11's with them without running into any mechanical error is the start of a good indication that they're made a-ok.
