| Not Ranked : 0 score it's too late, but hope you weighed the car before hand - would be interesting to see how much your awd system adds to the car. also did you think about upgrading the in-tank pumps while you had it off the car? I'm not sure if you needed special tools for the tank you used (i remember hearing it was a big PITA for our tank), but would've been something good to look into too. I know there's a bunch of other shit on your mind though! the meth kit is still waiting for you, would be good for your build! |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score No i did not get a chance to weigh the car before hand, however i do have a friend with the exact same car to the t so if need be i can weigh his and see in comparison to mine. As far as fuel pumps i am planning on running 2 in tank walbros. But i will only be running one most of the time. The second pump will run off a hobbs switch. Soon as i get the fuel system completed i will be buying you meth kit if its available still. Tonight i am going to finish closing off the hole, seam seal it and undercoat it all, then do the final assembly and installation of the rear end. or at least that is that plan. |

Shocks I assume are done since billstien called mr Friday and front right axel should be done too, just waiting to hear from frank at dss! Other than than the exhaust, intercooler, and intake piping are to be finished. Then retune and enjoy for a bit. Unfortunaly it's been out of my hands as far as completion. I wish I had a time line but until I get the parts I can't really give one.

With that he will be completeing a custom intake, catch can, and blow through set up. I spoke with him at length about what i wanted and he is got some cool things in store, one being a dp back aluminum exhaust! I did discover that when i put the car on the ground i need new suspension for the car, so as soon as i hear from the people at Ksport, i will have that on its way. | Not Ranked : 0 score There is a guy with a crazy GT35r setup on his Focus running 4" aluminum exhaust. I'm personally not a fan. The resonance of aluminum is sooo much different than steel. To me, going aluminum isn't for sound, it's for weight savings.

| Not Ranked : 0 score You'd think that 4" would make it super deep...but instead it sounds like a Honda from the back. Meanwhile, he's putting down 540whp...still sounds like shit. My Racing Beat exhaust, on the other hand, sounds amazing to me. Jared/Top Speed (the car above) did the exhaust for weight savings.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Got an update today from matt. The drive shaft is done! They had to build a custom piece in order to balance it correctly. So, tomorrow he said he will get the exhaust done. Today I finalized things with Ksport for my suspension. This is the first set of coil overs they have done on an MPS car in the states. Plus my custom requirements. I got a great price on them as well. Very excited about this getting finished.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I will introduce first. I'm owner of Mazda 3MPS (European speed3). I own workshop here and working on AWD kit that can accept 500+whp. So all calculations and custom parts I make at military aircraft repair facility. Its not main project and main priority is quality and strength, so its build speed is slow. I'm not native english speaker, so sorry for language. Found your project some time ago, and come here to give you some help  At first... wanna say this... Also you need better bushing there, stock one don't designed to accept such loads, and will break. Also your mistakes in addition: -lack of rear stabilizer -dangerous rear engine mount, it will break 99.9% -rear brakes from CX7 -one mount from rear diff cut off, it will lead to destruction of other mounts Maybe there are more, but I see these right now. I usually don't care, but if you wanna sell it to somebody, you must fix these things. You will be responsible for possible death of person who will drive it. Also some of mine progress... car... Transmission with transfer case... Rear brakes on custom plates Rear suspension Point on body that will be pushed by rear wheels... solid bushing there... custom made... P.S. What part # of billstein shocks you used (also will be good its length damped and full out), their dealer here is asshole, need to buy them at USA and pay delivery here.
