Gonna weld my own end tanks onto a core to effectively create dual Fmic.

You'll see when I get to that point.

Just wrapped up oil cooler install, filled fluids, primed oil, car started right up just like normal.

Idle spark advance was right on point at ~10 degrees btdc, right where it should be.... So looks like the cam removal / install was just fine.

Only thing that can f my c at this point is of the head gasket was already damaged, or somehow damaged during the swap... But I'm confident it's okay based off my mechanics advice.

Now that I know the locking chain guide approach is safe, I'll write up a how to. Should have it done later today.
