come on man you can't post up an sr20 in comparison. Its a 2.0L PI car and hits 400-430 all day on even baby gt28s. The MZR motor don't do that even on 2.3 liters. Your going to have to find a legit di cobalt that's hit 600 to even consider this a possibility. Op is gonna hit 450's and get his ass kicked by the dyno that's my guess.

Bet you my dusty ass setup can out dyno the op. Some one give me a free turbo damnit

SRT, you're comparing apples and oranges here man. There's no use in comparing the same turbo on entirely different motors. Further more, there's really no use in thrashing this plan..

I dont see this happening. You have to many voodoos working against you:

1) High boost on MZR lifts head
2) Injector Seals fail with larger cfm airflow and high boost
3) Not enough fuel
4) Poor IM
5) Small Tbody
6) Maf sensor that gives you the finger
7) Knock Sensor

I would honestly be surprised if you could hit 480 on that turbo.

1- hes built
2- im sur hes thought of that (PT)
3- fuel isent the issue in this case
4- having another IM made
5- getting a bigger throttle body

simple terms i dont think 600, i do think 550. =)

standard ARP studs on mazda3's have had head lift issues. They are the SAME exact studs we use on ours. If that's what he is using.

first off the new billet precisions arent what they are cracked up to be, 3 guys in my area have had the turbine wheel come off in there downpipe after a few weeks. Second of all there isnt a clutch out there that will hold other than the twin disk that we just had made from clutch masters, and third fuel system uprgades

o yea and the headlift issue.....also have a fix for that with L19 headstuds already made sitting on the shelf at a distributor

current miles 113000 and runs perfect! no hiccups!

spec stage 3+ clutch should hold. no need for an apeshit twin disk setup. as far as the headlift issue, why the fuck would arp half ass and it make a universal headstud for 2 completely different motors? thats just them bein fucking lazy right there. bullshit

They arent completely different motors.. You can put a DISI head on a standard MZR block and vice-versa. Hence the same headstuds fit. I dont think ARP ever actually said hey these headstuds are good for DISI engines, vendors just started selling them once they figured it out that they were a cross-over part.

Like I said it will be fun... I have extra supplemental insurance on my car that will cover any damage i.e. blown motor ( i just have to provide receipts for parts and labor). So I'm not too worried..

well im the only one talking from experience here....i stretched arp 2000 studs, had a couple sets of L19s made for the community, and i had a spec 3+ and that thing is toast with 501whp and 360ftlbs

Yes and no. The heads will fit but require fairly extensive work to actualy run (not just ecu wise but oil passages, and injector ports needing to be welded shut and new ones added, etc.)

main problem i see you running into is getting the parts you need in the timeframe you have. Its the little parts that kill you on money and time. GL id love to see this even if it takes longer than 30 days

Fuck what anyone says...GO FOR IT!

To me its people like this that are gonna do whatever to get to 600hp and hopefully we learn in the process to get higher HP (even if you dont hit it, 1 more car trying to go get higher HP is good in my books).

Good luck cagey! What throttle body are you getting or are you PnPing your stock one? Who's intake manifold ?

Srt4iek or whatever your name is. You have no idea what you're talking about. A 3071 makes 425ish at 22psi. 3076 450ish etc. You gotta read up on the speeds son!
