(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score hope you don't consider this a waste of bandwidth... i did my koni yellows/cs springs/jbr camber arms install this week and ran into a couple of small issues. I did this install alone, with minimal tools and figured a couple of tips for those people like me who need some extra guidance wouldn't hurt. JB usually has spot on products and instructions on his site...again he didn't fail to impress. like another member on here, i was sent two of the same arm...the jbr can not be read properly from the rear on the right arm...no big deal. stock camber arms come out pretty easy. the left side can be done with a 17mm shallow socket. it actually took me longer for the left since i had to fig these steps out... right side literally took 28 min using a wratcheting-wrench. once both bolts are fully removed the arm practically falls out. make sure jbr arm is the same length by matching up the two arms and placing a both through both holes at the same time. install the new arm by trying to install the harder to reach bolt first. you may need a rubber mallet to TAP the arm into place. get the holes lined up, thread bolt and don't fully tighten. line up the closer part of the arm with the hub assembly. place a jack under the front part of the hub being careful not to scrape the rotor. begin to raise the jack which raises the hub...and little by little TAP the arm into place with the rubber mallet. keep raising then tapping until the holes line up. the rest is self-explanitory. i hope this helps and doesn't waste your time...this install with proper guidance shouldn't take more than 45 min...and the passenger side side horror stories shouldn't exist with the proper tools. now to get an alignment. thanks for another quality part Jamie.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Which will likely be the most difficult, frustrating part of the entire ordeal (at least for the alignment guys) since as far as I know, they're impossible to adjust without removing at least one of the bolts on each arm each time you make an adjustment...

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score they will have to remove the bottom bolt to make adjustments, but an adjustment that takes a little effort is better than one that isnt possible IMO. i really think it will be harder for them to get the car up the ramps without scraping than it will be to adjust camber.

I just ordered these and am hoping I didn't make another bad camber arm choice. BTW, I like your stuff Jamie... very well made, I just rarely trust the techs who do work on my car and want them to wrench on my car the least possible.

The wheel needs to be pulled and the outer end unbolted to make an adjustment with our camber arms. Takes like 5 minutes per side. The SPC arms can be adjusted with out pulling the wheel but many suggest it's easier with the wheel off. I suspect it takes no less time to adjust them than ours. Any qualified alignment shop or technician is going to get your wheels in spec with no more than 2 adjustments. Most shops do not charge extra to adjust our camber arms either. At least not the shops that I've used. I'm confident you will be more than happy with our camber arms. -Jamie Last edited by JBR; 12-10-2012 at 08:47 AM.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I have heard it is possible with the SPC camber arms, however, the guy that did my alignment said it wasnt... Fail tech maybe? Edit: Just remembered, this was the same tech that got my alignment wrong the first two attempts... So Yeah, fail tech... |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I can't speak to your experience but, most techs don't see adjustable camber arms every day. Being a mechanic myself for many years, I know that sometimes it's easier to take an extra step, such as removing the wheel, to get in there and get the job done, versus figuring out what it's gonna take to make the adjustment with the wheel on. Same amount of time less frustration. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score My SPC arms have been adjusted twice now while still bolted up. I wouldn't want to make large, sweeping changes to my camber without some disassembly, but fine adjustments are really not an issue with the right tools.
