Just submitted an order...

I had a bit of panic thinking I may have selected the wrong one, so I went back to look at my order detail. My order detail says '07-2010+, which has me a bit perplexed...

I just want to make sure I get the Black bar that is for a Gen 1 MS3. Thanks!

The email associated with the order (if you haven't already figured it out) is: nliiitend1 (at) hotmail (dot) com

Just ordered one because the understeer when I'm doing AutoX is horrible, hoping this improves it

So on Sunday I decided to install the JBR Sway Bar, everything was going smoothly until I got to the left side Sway Bar end link nut, I could not get the shit out no matter what. Everything I did caused pieces of the nut to just ring off. Started with a breaker bar, when I saw it slipping, I stopped before it got too bad, decided to try an Impact Wrench, same thing (nut was rounding out).

After hours of failing, I decided to go by a friend with a torch to heat the bolt up to help get it off (took the bar off with the left side endlink attached). At this point the nut is completed round out, so I used the biggest Vice Grip I could find after heating to try and get it out. Still got pieces of nut since the Vice Grip was slipping. Next we decided to cut of as much bolt as possible without damaging the end link's thread, that still failed, after all this the bolt hasn't moved at all.

Ended up having to buy a new end link, installed the bar yesterday (took 20 minutes). Will see how much it helps this weekend at the autocross (bar set to the innermost hole, stiffest setting).

Those end link nuts can be a bitch! I usually bump them with and impact gun then use a closed end wrench and an allen to get them off.

I read the instructions on the site before installing the sway bar and I believe i have the setting right, but is the stiffest setting the one closest to the front of the car? I was expecting a bit more oversteer than what I'm getting now. Could it be the stock tyres? I'm already ordering a pair of rs3's for the fronts.

Scca ds now allows a rsb for autocross...that means I'll be sure to pick one up very soon. So should everyone else, maybe the rule change will help your sales

After much deliberation, I have placed an order for a red RSB.

Just please, don't tell my wife!

Looks like I'll be ordering one of these today (hopefully). Been looking at them since I got the car, finally getting around to redoing the suspension. I guess the big question is...red or black?

Decided on red and ordered. Also got an EGR block-off finally, and a TB TIG since I'll have to pull it anyway, and for the coolant bypass. Can't wait for some new parts!

Got my RSB installed the other day, set to full stiff. LOVE IT! Probably my favorite mod so far! Going around corners it is so much more balanced now. You can very predicatbly slide out the back end with some throttle lift off if you are so inclined. Fun stuff! I didn't really notice any harshness in ride quality on full stiffness either.

Same here. Just got it in yesterday. Those endlinks are mother loving whores... Wish I would have had time to do it sooner. Hard to explain, but it feels as if the back end follows you now, and doesn't bully you around and push you

I got mine in several weeks ago, but just installed it this morning, and all I can say is: FAAHH-KMEEEE!!!

On the middle setting there is ZERO understeer... maybe a hint of oversteer. Absolutely neutral handling. Turns flat. Fantastic.

Installation was a breeze. I had to loosen the top nut of the end link to get enough play to get the end link into the bar, but no biggie. It took longer to get my tools and get my car on jack stands that it did to do the actually install. Total time, start to finish, 30 minutes (including getting the car up in the air).

Next JBR purchase: Catch Can.

Just installed my JBR RSB and was very impressed with the quality of the bar, fast shipping, and included hardware. I had a simular rear sway on my '08 3 but this one is definately better quality than most I've seen. Just started on the middle setting and can tell the difference. Thanks!

Jamie, I installed your rear sway this afternoon. Great product and it only took around 20 minutes to install on ramps. Zero clunking. Zero issues. Keep up the good work!

Installed the RSB a few weeks ago on the middle setting. I was recently able to take the car out to some mountain roads and all I have to say is !

The handling has improved tremendously! I am now able to take turns at a higher speed than before while being more confident that I have full control of my car. Thanks for the awesome product, Jamie!

EDIT: Oh yeah, and no weird noises are present!

Got mine installed with a set of camber arms and the car is so much more fun to drive now and I am only on the middle setting. Such an easy install and it just feels quality built.
@jbarone; what is the easiest way to keep the rsb lubed? Should I take the brackets off and refill the bushing or is that what the little nipple is for on the bracket? I ask because it seems like I am getting a creak in the rear so i want to re lube it all to make sure.

Use the grease fitting on the bracket to lube it up.

Use a grease gun loaded with synthetic grease. You can get one at Wal-Mart pretty cheap. Also, apply some grease to the collars and brackets to keep them from rusting.

Thanks,
Jamie

Did you just rename the sway bar or is there actually a difference?

Actually, we just gave it a name to be in line with the other suspension products recently released and some that have yet to be.
