(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score So last week I ordered myself one of Jamie's new Powder coated penis head shaped heavy shift knobs, and I got it in the mail a few days later. First thing I noticed, DAMN this thing is heavy as hell, and the quality is awesome. Powder coating looks really good and is not uneven at all, and the insert on top with the gear pattern looks oem quality. Well, on to my failed install, I followed the directions on cutting new threads into the aluminum spacer insert thingy correctly. Then when i went to screw the know down onto the shifter, i screwed the damn spacer in upside down. I didnt realize this until i had tightened that bitch down tight as shit against the jamb nut. This meant that I couldnt separate the two after many many tries. This was on Friday night, so I shot jamie an email telling him of my fail. He answer back within about ten minutes, giving me some advice on how i might be able to separate the two, but they were already seized together pretty good. After speaking with him on the phone about the fail he offered to let me ship the fubar'd one back to him and provide him with tracking info, and he would ship me another one out asap so i could get it before xmas. Sure enough, next day i shipped mine back and emailed him the tracking info, and the next day (sunday) i got my tracking info on the replacement knob. Jamie had absolutely no obligation to take the hit on this one since it was my stupid fault for rushing and not following his clear directions, but this is just another example of his awesome customer service and I wish more companies would take note and follow suit. Philly B cliffnote version: JBR customer service is awesome

| Not Ranked : 0 score Just installed my SSP and shift knob... and wow the instruction provided on the site are spot on. Got the SSP on in literally 10 minutes, same story with the knob. Found the perfect setup for the knob is to have the adapter flush with the top of the threads and the jamb nut inside the knob all the way to the top. Easy install, I was hesitant about the adapter jacking up my threads on the shifter bout it went smoothly. Thanks James!
