For those looking to drive their cars fast in a safe and controlled environment with turns, look no further! Here's the registration links for the CGI Motorsports track day at Gingerman Raceway in MI:

If you have any questions on which group you think you should register for, feel free to shoot me or @MATT DAMOND; a PM. We honestly recommend an instructor for anyone who questions whether of not they need one, has not tracked in awhile, or has not been to this track. There are class room sessions for the Novice group, which we recommend on everyone attending, unless you're a seasoned veteran of racing. Don't sign up for the "advance group" to be cool Mr hot shot, they'll knock you down at the track to a lower group.

The pricing has increased a bit over years past, but is still quite reasonable for the amount of track time when compared to most other venues.

The cost is $275 for Novice, and $225 for Intermediate and Advance. The extra $50 covers the instructors for Novices (if you've previously been approved for solo track time by CGI as a Novice, the fee may be waived and you may run sans instructor).

Yeah, someone else mentioned that.

When I talked to Justin I told him who I was, the group I was with, how many years we had stayed before and that we were told we were always welcome back. He had heard of us and was very ready to have us stay.

From what I was told by Justin, we need to say we are with the NATOR group, mention the days we are staying and your name will be added to the block.

Again, this is new management so it could take some time to get it all worked.

I am calling him weekly to follow up with how many people are booking, if you want me to ask any questions or if you want to yourself, let me know.

We did some searching and found that in 2013 we were given a less than 10% discount and in 2014 there are no rates listed we are not sure if we had a discount then.

I am planning to still call today and ask about the rates but I can't promise anything.

I think the confusion is coming from "Group Name" - That is just the name we were given so we could be roomed closer together.

I shall do what I can.

I asked about a group discount again and again he said they were under new ownership and new management and he was not aware of any group rates being offered.

I believe it is, I don't think we had many people express interest but if we can get enough people interested I am sure we try and set something up.

9/9 is a "Free Day" and 9/10 is a Beach Day/Craig's Cruisers, could do it either of those days and have other options for people who aren't interested in the dyno.

9/10 would probably be better for most myself included simply because not everyone may be able to get off work for Friday.

Usually isn't time at dyno days to do any tuning. Kinda depends on how many people want on.
