Maybe others already know this but I found out that BNR3 now comes with the coolant hose and clamps needed.

Ziggo posted a thread a while back on how to install the BNR3 - BNR S3 Swap How To
On this thread he had to fabricate the coolant line, thankfully that's not needed with the kits now. It's a great write up.

It's been suggested to get the exhaust manifold to turbo gasket in case it needs to be replaced, with 86k on my block I've ordered it.

BNR has the turbine housings and are working on assembly now. The first turbos will be shipping today. They said they should be able to get out 5-7 today and approximately 10 per day until all backorders are filled. Currently our order numbers range from 138850 to 139600. The closer your order is to the lower one, the sooner it will ship, but all orders should be shipped by the end of next week.

Would like to know this too. Based on the numbers RPM have given us, at 10 per day, and 5-7 today, that would mean there is approx ~ 65-70 on order.

That's a pretty good guess. We don't have quite that many, but BNR has other customers and direct orders, too.

Drop-shipped in most cases. Some international orders will come to us first if we need to pack other items in with the turbo.

FYI for anyone that asks, the CS turbos can't be clocked without some modifications/brackets per CS. So if anyone wants the JBR under mount piping they are in for funstration.

I never understood that, having to hide purchases, or being unable to buy things because of your girl/wife/SO. If your bills are paid, family is fed and sheltered, and you have money to spend, who is anyone to tell another adult what they can or can't do with the money they earned. If you're blowing money on your car, and you're not paying your rent/mortgage, child is missing meals, etc... then you have a problem.

Here's how my interaction went, dead serious.

me: "Hey babe, just letting you know I'm buying a bigger turbo because I won't be happy until I get one. Plus it's my birthday, and I want it. I know I have no good reason to purchase it, and no actual need for this turbo, but I'm going to get it anyway"

Because it turns from me just spending 1200 bucks to her saying well, if you get to buy that I want to buy this designer purse or these shoes. So 1200 bucks turns into 2400 bucks and Im supposed to be saving to buy a house

Lol the old "we're trying to buy a house" argument. My fiancée gave me that when I bought mine, and then I pushed the pedal down and shut her up! My fiancée really doesn't mind what I buy just as long as everything's taken care of just like the guy a few posts above said. Her problem is the $1900 turbo turned into close to $3000 after all the supporting parts.

Yeah, we are saving for a house too, happening in January when our lease is up here. I was originally going for the GTX2971R w/EWG, and like you, that came out to about $3,000 with everything included. She would have been a little upset about that, can't even deny it, since I have no actual need or good reason to buy a new turbo. But there has never been a time where I've spent money on this car (almost every month lol) and she felt that she needs to buy something also, just because I did.

Plus, stock block still, so 400/380 sounds like good numbers to me. Plus it will just be nicer to still feel the car pull after 5300rpm, instead die off like it does with the k04.

BNR S3 scheduled for delivery Monday, this will be the LONGEST WEEKEND EVER... lol

Some pictures of the paint process. Got it installed yesterday, bit of a pain, but didn't expect it to be a simple drop in. Nothing too hard though.

Might do a little write up, who knows, really busy this week. And all this rain is going to make it a pain to tune right now. 0psi targets and 0wgdc isn't that fun to drive lol.

I went from 297hp vdyno (286awhp real dyno) to 406hp (no real dyno yet) with this little bundle ya got here.

I did throw in some meth. Maybe a lot of it. But that is the only change; d05 to d07 nozzle and 50% to 100% meth.
