Default 15x9 Tire Options

It's pretty much universally accepted that 15x9 are the way to go for a performance miata. Lighter wheels, cheaper tires, sounds like a win win.

Problem is tire availability in 225/45/15. The Hankook RS3 seems to be the hot ticket this year, but they're sold out just about everywhere, and the rack is claiming they get 8 tires at a time, and will take at least a month to get you a set. The next step up Nitto nt01, carries a significant premium over the RS3.

225/50/15 options are more plentiful, but introduce more fitment issues, and the tires available are less reviewed.

Lets use this thread to provide tire supplier information, reviews, fitment experience, and anything in between.
