They only had 120 spots so the initial cutoff was 800 whp, I guess if they could not fill up the spots then the plan was to drop to 700 whp, but all the spots are already gone.

These guys have been doing roll and dig events too - most cars are 500-1000whp so its not as high powered as TX2k

When I cam get a clean run in, I will surely post it in here. I have run once and it was 12.6 @ 120 with a 2.1 60'

Im sure I will have plenty of runs at ENM and now that everything is fixed (shifting issues) it should be decent. Also i <3 @Realgib3;

Was the shifting issues fixed with a new split second controller? If I recall you had issues with fuel still spraying during WOT shifting/FFS or something like that?

The shifting issues and the issues that cause me to run past the rev limiter are gone. the N2MB WOTBOX solved everything. I have it control my LC/FSS and rev limit-- the AP limit has been set at 8000 just in case. Ignition cut is the shit. Getting both fuel systems to cut at the same time with the same hysteresis was impossible, ask @ms3blackmica;. I am really looking forward to tracking at ENM now that the car runs right. What a fucking relief. Been stressing me out for months not being able to shift lol

Getting both fuel systems to cut at the same time with the same hysteresis was impossible, ask @ms3blackmica;. I am really looking forward to tracking at ENM now that the car runs right. What a fucking relief. Been stressing me out for months not being able to shift lol

im glad you are using the n2mbwot box, i have been researching about the ap and the n2mb ( which i both own) and im glad you use them in conduction because that seemed like the most ideal source, do you have an ignition system like the hks and if so how did you wire the wot, ( i have one and am afraid i will mess something up, waiting on response from the company for install tips) and what are you launching at/ how much boost are you building if any

Stock ignition system. I have it set to 5500 and ill get a couple launches this weekend and see what is best, I'm expecting it to build at least 10psi

28,000 Miles later and the car is still running 43 PSI and making exactly 720 AWHP.

Compression is still even across all 4 cylinders.

The motor consumes some oil but it is expected at this time in it's life and the abuse from high cylinder pressures.

I'm very happy with how well this build turned out.

Yeah, car has been good to me for the journey.. Put 28k in a year (Got it running last Oct) on this motor from numerous cross country trips and the fact that it was my daily up until two months ago when I got the protegay5. I have Nishan ( @ms3blackmica) to thank for making sure my bitch was running right and Pablo/Rakel to thank for a solidly built motor.

I might try and hit the track one more time before the season is over and it starts to snow. After that though, I am going to bring the car down for a refresher build. We know I'm pushing my luck with the stock sleeves, and I would like a thicker ring than what comes on the Wisecos for my power levels. So those upgrades are in order, as well as I-beams or equivalent 1000hp capable rods.

I haven't been on here much to update this due to the ridiculous drama that occurred some months ago. But, it has moved on to social media so nowhere is safe lol.

Either way I'm going to keep enjoying my 6 until it kills me or explodes into a ball of fire. At which point I will get a CTS-V Wagon

When I find time I will bring this thread up to date with pics and such.

I have PU gears. I don't think even 700 awhp is enough to warrant diesel gears for me at least. I bet it would be much more beneficial for the MS3s.

How did I not know you had PU gears???

Yeah the Diesel gears are great on a 3 because they help a ton with traction and make boost by gear much easier.

On a 6, the PU gears are probably perfect.

Probably because I stopped updating the changes to my car to avoid the drama and shop bashing that was going on, lol. It started to become less about progress and more about dick-swinging, which I feel is unnecessary.

With yours being one of the first PI cars I'm glad to hear that 28k miles on the engine has been holding up just fine!
