Man, when he started showing up at our Mazda club meets we thought that he seemed shady. The only reason that I gave him a chance was because he gave me a deal on my V3 that I couldn't pass up ($575 w/overnight shipping to my door). I should've known.

I'm not saying we can't help you, we stand behind our products but you gotta look at from our point of view.

This whole thing has gotten a bit ridiculous. Nate and Chris have been banned from tons of forums already, before this whole mess. End result, though, is that the Mazda community continues to keep a sharp eye out for bullshitters and shady mofos and are great about being loyal to the companies that work hard to make them happy and letting said companies know when the shit has piled too high.

So, from the bottom of my heart, I want to thank everyone who keeps an eye out for us. We really appreciate it.

You're not wrong, but MAP is a practice to protect companies from getting their products undercut, and to allow for a level playing field between retailers, so that everyone can prosper equally. The company basically retains the right to cut all distribution deals with a retailer who undercuts MAP, which is within their right.


They're not saying "You can only sell this product for $650" (which is price fixing, btw)

They are saying "If you sell this product under $650, we will no longer distribute through you, and you'll no longer be allowed to sell our products"

There is an advertised price, a bottom line price, and cost. The advertised is for Joe schmo mcfaggotballs to just click add to cart and await delivery. The bottom line price is pretty much any price between the MAP and the advertised. It's up to the vendor how much they want to make in profits by what price in this range they use. This is the section most people care about. Then there is the shady as fuck section between cost and MAP that is to never be used. It will allow the vendor to make some money but is below the contractualy agreed upon bottom line. That is where nate was entering. And continued to advertise selling to people at cost.

Okay lets starighten this story out as it is not an accurate discription of events at all. I have known of his car for quite some time. Always seemed to be misguided in proper modding for the platform. Had to have the trans rebuilt for some reason and was on a gtx3071 that was installed by onother shop. An intake was switched and a maf screw was lost and his car quit running correctly shortly after. This is when I was called last spring to help fix the car. When I pulled the gtx3071 off I found the maf screw in the impeller blades of turbo and turbo was useless and need replaced as the exhaust housing was the only reusable part. It was sent back to garrett for repairs. Upon this job I noticed 2 transfer case bolts mossing as well as 2 trans bolts missing and generally bad labor done on the car as well as broken off bolts that had not been repaired. I installed the new turbo and did a lil clean up work. Another forum member was also there to help out and get nate straight. Upon first drives on the new turbo the clutch was slipping when loaded up.

This brough the car to the first motor out on my behalf for inspection that yeilded a bad rear main and a soaked clutch and flywheel. Rear main was replaced as well as clutch and flywheel. Car put back together and was fine until car got above 10psi and then would leak past rear main. Did compression and leakdown and it was low. Dont have numbers off the top of my head but remember 140s.

I recommended to nate that for the power he wanted and to be a safe reliable drive that the motor should be built and the car needed a lot of little work. After about 2 weeks he agreed and we ordered parts from sp63 for pistons and h11 studs and I tore into the car to find 15 missing or broke fasteners. Head studs did not get shipped till september sometime. Initially I was to do the engine build but Nate chAnged his mind and wanted sp63 to do the work. Once he got that all organized the motor was sent to them in like November as soon as I got the go ahead thats what Nate wanted to do. Mean while Nate had sold his turbo and bought a new setup as well as the pi fuel kit from sp63.

Fast fwd a few months to like end of Feb and I get motor but still dont have all parts needed for this car as Nate is ordering them all. I informed Nate I was gonna work on starting an actual business and would be moving to a shop, I am also goin through divorce.

Was about 2 more weeks before I got fuel system components and nate also bought differant diff mounts and other parts for me to change out with stuff that was already on the car. I had taken the car to storage at his house while we were still waiting on parts as I didnt have room at my house for it to sit inside or in my driveway. So while it set outside his 2 car garage that was full of boxes he sold parts off of it and accepted payment for some items without them being off the car. Then would message me that he needed them removed as he sold stuff, meanwhile it was like 4 degrees outside and I had other vehicles I was working on.

Anyways I just got my shop location ~4 weeks ago where everything is moved to. Just got what should have been the last parts last week. So I get to work getting the car together and find that the plugs are not in the boxes and there are no gauges that were suppose to be ordered 2 weeks ago. Got plugs yesterday and gauges should be here in a few days as they were not ordered.

Also this car was being used to do the mock up and would have the first new crash bar I am working for the speed6 which takes a hot min to work and design as I just got with my welder at my new location last week.

Nate has always wanted the best of everything on his car and will buy what people tell him he needs to make it right. There has not been an expense spared on the build really. Car is damn near done but just a clocking adjustment on the dp that should be finished today depending on welder and I just have to gut interior to run wires and clean up the previous mess that was done by another shop.

I do not work half ass on a car nor start a job I do not have all parts to complete as leaving it sit in the middle till you get the parts is bad practice in my book. Attention to detail is everything as I was an aviation mechanic in the military for 6 years.

The same time that his car was started so was Todd Keelings car whos is out on Nates old turbo tunning on Meth making over 440whp in a speed3 that I built motor for and all.

Nate tries to do the right thing but is not aware of everything. He has not done bad to me and swing business my way a lot for all sorts of jobs. He is a lil hard to deal with as a customer as there have been a lot of changes and he is easily influenced by others as to what the car needs. I am sure he was never advised what price he could sell below as there is no training to be an internet seller. He was just doin what he thought was okay to sell parts. Justafied it is not. An invoice through paypal is the proper way to go so you have a form of receipt for the item you purschased.

If you have not gotten paid, I would not expect to be. He probably used all the labor $ for the mods, or male escorts.
