Yes @nindoja; I bought a V3 from him back when he first started selling on Facebook. I think I paid like $500 for it using their website. After a week, I still hadn't gotten a tracking number or anything and couldn't get in contact with anyone through the website, so I got on their Facebook page and complained about their customer service. Within five minutes my inbox had blown up from both Nate and Chris, they were pissed about me trying to ruin their company or something and said they had tried to send me an email to clarify something before shipping? (I ordered a pillar mount as well, but they couldn't get them from Cobb anymore) This has all been a few months now but I seem to remember them almost threatening me because I wanted a refund on my pillar mount since they couldn't do it. They wanted to charge me $50+ for shipping on the V3. I'll have to find all my correspondence when I get back in town. But a few days later the V3 showed up and I've used edge and CorkSport since. They were shady and mafia like

One thing I never understood is why they REFUSE to do returns. I got a quote for some H&R springs a few months back and Nate jumps the gun and sent them out without me even sending payment! I was like wtf and told him to reverse the package, he acted like it was the end of the world. Anyway the springs came and I had to literally act a ass to get a return label. I've never seen such bs in my life I ask for a quote I get a package and pressured to pay and not to return. I even seen someone say on the fb page "no one returns to Nate, that's not cool" wtf is up with that?

So like an adult I went to his boss in a PM and made him aware of what his employee was doing so he would put nate in check and then I get called a troll and told not to contact him again. They said there was nothing wrong with then using that picture. They weren't breaking any laws.

Well I certainly feel like absolute shit for buying from him now. If I was rollin' and had the extra cash just laying around, I'd give the difference to COBB for the internals and the AP.
Nate seemed very friendly and helpful at first, but perhaps my naivety made me a vulnerable target for a sale.

I will also admit that I too found it quite difficult to get a direct, front-facing answer from him. I was hesitant on purchasing for a while because I wasn't quite sure how they could be genuine parts at that price and didn't realize or understand that he was undercutting MAP pricing. I waited until I saw more people post feedback and product shots before pulling the trigger.

Well moving forward I don't see myself buying from them again.

That's because he's not actually distributing this stuff. It gets drop-shipped from another vendor or distributor after he buys it from them. If you ship it back to him, then getting it out of his house is his problem versus just pocketing your money for the transaction he spent 2 minutes on a laptop completing.

I've been a professional photographer for over 10 years and I too have had images stolen and used things I didn't authorize. Usually was a simple misunderstanding or lack of knowledge. I would never ever let any company use any of my images for products I didn't endorse. I certainly wouldn't allow them to continue using it after they stole it and acted like they are doing me a favor. People make mistakes but this is simply absurd... I hope the photographer demands the photo be removed. It's an infringement on so many levels. Professional or not the image isn't his to use and it's current use is outside of "fair use"...and that's simply illegal. There is no gain for this photographer for his image to be used to represent a rotten company or one of their products.
