Just to keep you updated. We had to do some adjusting/refitting. Progress is coming along, slowly, but surely. We want this product to come out 100% with no issues which is why we are taking our time and being crititcal with this.

My guess is they included them as to allow you to still use fmic piping mounting brackets. Some FMIC kits mount to those points.

Obviously since the throttle body is now in the way of where the tmic boost tubes would run, you wouldn't be able to run a tmic without substantial modifications.

Unless they have a solution for that too.

It is a very nice piece, I was at Imports v Domestics in Maryland this past week end and saw it first hand. The mounting points I think would be more for FMIC mounting points since it relocates the TB, not saying it could not be done, but would be more difficult.
The JMF manifold has already had someone re-use a tmic with little to no modification. But, lets face it, no matter which manifold is used, do you really think if you are this far into modifying do you really want to keep an in-efficient tmic for the power levels these are capable of supporting?

That depends on the price and the results. Based on the testing I've seen from @dale_gribble; and others, I'd definitely consider an EM before an swap my upgraded TMIC for a FMIC. If there are similar results from EM testing, the same would apply. I'm not shooting for huge power, but everybody can benefit from balanced and improved flow.

The reason to run a new intake mani with top mount isn't to gain airflow across the board, but to get rid of the stock mani flow imbalance and VCTS system and whatnot.
