Question Oil Catch Can

first of all, fail of me for not having any pics of my setup or to what i'm about to talk about. but i will have pics in a few days.

now, i followed the cobb how-to except i put the occ behind the horn. everything looks great but my question is, are those two hoses suppose to be 'outlets'? i know the one from the stock black tube will be your inlet and the hose you made that goes along the pcv you put (with the portion of the pcv that is opening/closing is facing the occ) will be your outlet. but after only less than 100 miles i see some deposits in there.

i used a high resistant pressure clear hose from lowe's so i saw what's going on. the inlet hose has the brown, coffee like liquid running through it. there are some in the occ as well. then on the outlet hose, there's some black oil sitting in there and it is on the portion between the pcv and the occ. the pcv itself is oily so how did the oil get in there? it only opens during vacuum right which should be sucking the other way yet i see oil after the pcv? i don't get it. is this the way it suppose to work?

your descriptions of things kinda have me confused there, by saying inlet and outlet -
the setup should be pressure comes out of the crankcase thru the stock pcv valve (underneath the intake mani) this goes into the occ (i guess you say the inlet - which is different on different cans) then pressure comes out of the occ and goes into the intake manifold - this is where cobb says to use another pcv valve (from napa) - i highly recommend not using that valve there and using one of these instead -
Moroso 97800 Moroso Crankcase Evacuation System
that valve at the intake really needs to be 1 way - and some who have actually tested the setup on this forum have actually found that that napa valve can leak pressure...
