Default Help would be much appreciated

So up until now i've gotten by with searching and reading, but I can't seem to find anything like what's going on now. Was hoping maybe someone could point me in the right direction.

This just started happening on my way home from work. When I try to take off from a light, all the lights flicker, the radio turns off, the dash lights up like a Christmas tree, and then everything returns to normal. No cels, smooth idle and power. Holding steady - 20 psi at idle. It only does it as I let the clutch out. (I know, it sounds like i'm stalling, but I assure you that I'm not) it even did it as I was gearing down. Its weird though, because it only does it when I'm going slow (just starting, or coming to a stop)

I already checked the battery and the connections are tight, no corrosion either. Checked for bare spots in the writing harness, noticed none.

Loose connection somewhere, probably either the battery terminals or a ground.

Check the output voltage and amperage of the alternator. I just went through this with my wifes 05 Focus ST as the voltage regulator took a shit and was putting out 18-19 volts when revved up. Idle it sat around 14.5. Taking off from a stop light the gauges would go nuts, along with the radio, and interior lights.

I just drove it today, and everything was perfect. Had none of the symptoms from last night. Only thing that bothers me is the fact that cars don't fix themselves, and I'm sure it'll be back...when is the question now lol

sounds like it could be either a wiring harness connector coming partially loose due to the engine torqueing back and forth when letting the clutch out, or a wiring harness rubbing thru its insolation from the same movement.

This sort of diagnostic work can be very time consuming and frustrating. It can also be super easy if you spot it quickly. Best of luck.

I'd agree with the alternator theory...rpms dip when letting clutch out sometimes, maybe it's enough to drop the output voltage below the needed threshold?
