(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I have tried pushing the DSC button and it dosen't do anything. I have even unpluged the battery. I have no clue what to do and google can't find anything. I don't want to have to take it to the dealership again because that is getting real expensive. Please help if you have any idea how to fix this. Thanks. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Mazdaspeed 3 or 6? It's possible that a wire to one of the wheel speed sensors or ABS plugs was damaged or came loose. Check behind each wheel for any loose or damaged wires/plugs. You may want to unplug and clean the plugs out, it may just be that a bunch of crap got into one of the plugs and it's sending a bad signal. Check the fuses too (and first), it's always possible that one of them blew.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score It's a mazdaspeed 3. So there are sensors in the wheel wells or something? There was a lot of snow lodged in there. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score When you got stuck in the snow, did you hit anything? Check the fuses first followed by the connection to the sensor like @keymaster; said. Other then that you may have damaged the sensor it self. When I hit a curb they had to replace the sensor, hub bearing and then reset the sensor in the computer.

| Not Ranked : 0 score There are. Start with the fuses though, it's possible that one of the wires shorted or got wet and that blew a fuse. If the fuses are good, then you get to take the wheels off and check out the wiring to see if there is any damage. If you're lucky, cleaning things up will fix it, if not it's a trip to the dealership for a new sensor and calibration. It's hard to say what it might be until you start looking though, good luck.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Check the fault codes. Those modules generate faults.

And Lex is right, the warning lights should be generating codes that you can pull and look up...you'll need something to do that with. I think a ODBII scanner will read those as well, but don't quote me on that...that would include stuff like a Dashhawk or AP, anything that can pull codes. Auto parts stores used to read those codes for free, I recently heard some aren't doing it anymore. Check for a local meet, someone probably can help you out with that.

| Neutral : -1 score You do know that post was six, I repeat, six years ago, right? Do you really expect him to be following the thread now? Maybe PM him, if he is even still here and still owns his car.

| Not Ranked : 0 score He should just think before posting. Really. All of us. Not that hard to look at post dates. Keymaster’s last post of any kind was in May, 2014. If he is even here, it’s just about zero percent that he’d still be following the thread. I suggested a PM might actually reach him if he is still involved here. That was constructive.
