Default Stock Bose system w/ Eonon questions - MS3 Gen 1

I've been reading about ways to upgrade the stock Bose system and I'm not sure that I'm clear on several things. This will be my first time messing with car audio, I've done things like GROM adapters and the like but I feel that this will be more involved. I'm handy enough to handle the install, I'm just not sure I follow what I need to do to keep cost low but also do it right.

I just got an Eonon unit for a good price, but that's as far as I've gotten. I don't plan on adding any extra speakers/subs.

- I know I need to ditch the stock Bose amp. Do I need to buy an amp if I have the Eonon or can I run speakers straight to the Eonon?

-Can I still utilize the factory wiring harness if I ditch the stock amp and keep the factory bose speakers? (I do plan on upgrading speakers in the near future, could I utilize the factory harness with all other components being aftermarket?)

I'm trying to do all of this research myself, just making sure I understand. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

I was able to keep my speaker and amp. The eonon should have a pre-amp wire which would allow you to turn the amp on. You will need a wiring harness that will connect to the factory wiring. Not sure which eonon you got and if it was specific to your speed 3. A good place to look for a wiring harness is Crutchfield. That will give you a good ideal of what is needed to make an aftermarket unit work in your car.

I found this kit at crutchfield. Although I'm not sure the year of your car so you would have to go to the site and input your information. choose a radio and then select see installation gear.

So I have the Eonon ga5151f. It is specific to 04-09 mazda3. I'm thinking I can just use what's supplied and not need anything else if I just wanted to retain everything. But I guess what I'm asking is: I plan to upgrade speakers. I don't think I can keep the stock amp and expect any increase in sound quality, can I?

I appreciate the links, I had looked at the PAC but wasn't entirely sure what I'd use it for...

Could I just bypass the amp, keep the factory wiring and not add an amp in there while upgrading the speakers?

I believe you can. I would look at the crutchfield site and look at their upgrade path. I believe it will show you what type of speakers you can use with the amp if you choose to do so. It will also show you what you can use without stock amp.
