Default Clock display/ radio not working (fuse is good)

Hey Guys just bought a 2008 cx7 GT. Everything has been great except today while driving radio cut off and clock display went dead. First thing I did was check fuse, it was good. Second, just for sh*ts I hit eject to test for power and cd ejected and heard the motor(so its getting power). Anyone have any insight experience with problem? I googled for a answer and I got a whole bunch of threads related to first gen mazda 3s.

Thanks!

Did you attempt to take the dash apart and pull the radio? Reason why I ask is it is possible for the wire connections to become loose or for a wire to break.

I don't really know anything in specific with the cx-7's audio and wiring, so I'm no help beyond the basics. Sorry. GL though

Looks like the previous owner had someone install some kind of accessory, was checking over fuse box and followed some suspicious electrical wiring to some inline fuses. Car is at Stealership to see what they come up with. I have a 2 year extended warranty hopefully they will cover it (doubtful).

Hey did you ever solve the problem for your speed6? I have the exact same issue. My hvac works and I can load/unload a cd but radio doesn't play anything and the display above doesn't work either.
Thanks!
