(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  How do you remove a alternator heat shield from a 2.3L I have taken the heat shield bolt off of the front of the alt. i can't see or feel where the second bolt is at. I'm try to replace my turbo but i'm ready to take a torch to the whole car. Rather than use the flanges at the downpipe and exhaust system some dillhole welded them together. Some of bolts on the heat shields have rusted and now they're 9.8 MM and i can't get to the turbo/cat bolts.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Uh... pictures? If you cannot find a random bolt, buy a small mirror. Preferably one you can tie a string to so it can be secured and not drop/break. |
